We see HB and SYJ are getting married, we saw the fiasco with the Song-Song ex couple, I was so sad for Gu Hye Sun, but honestly....THESE TWO are the ONLY couple in the whole world, if they do announce they are getting married, I will be in tears, and probably get a stroke!!! YEH is my absolute favorite actress and Coffee Prince is my favorite drama of all, for many many reasons. Pure joy, everything about it!!! ❤️❤️
Oh we feel exactly the same way! YEH is my only favorite actress, and CP is my most favorite drama. Only Han Gyul and Eun Chan makes my heart flutter. @@gyehlove6420 There is one other couple, a chinese one, that I would love to see end up together, but they come a far distant second to GY and YEH. If GY doesn't do something in the next year or two, we will all have to call him out, as she said she'll only marry when he does, and we want her to marry and have kids, she will be one of the best mothers ever.

Well said! I'd never seen Gong Yoo smile/laugh like that. It's also my first time seeing him being so naughty teasing a female co-star that much, that he got hit by her twice. He's really comfortable around her.
GY is not talking about his wishes or traits of a woman he wants as his wife. He is describing Yeh as he sees her, the physical, the emotions, the soul, as the woman of his ideal. GY likes to be cared for, pampered, and a person to come home too, as his home. He is happy that Yeh is like his Mother, who he obviously love and adore so much.
Exactly. GY seems to be describing YEH in all of his interviews about his ideal woman, the timing also fits.
For example, he began saying he likes tomboys only after working with YEH (and her tomboy character Eun Chan) and he said he'd like to go out with someone in late 2007, the year he met her.
yes - i hope this isnt confirmation bias, but i noticed that YEH likes to give people massages... GY is giving us subtle hints.
as well, in the CP reunion special and another interview, he kept mentioning that go eun chan and HG are married with kids!! =D
i hope they delayed marriage because YEH wanted GY to suceed. i think YEH knows she geets a lot of anti-fans so maybe she foresaw that revealling their relationship too soon to the public would result in a problem for gong yoo's career... one can only hope
@@fionarofl Right. GY was giving subtle hints especially through Gong20. After filming CP, he was tormented, he said he wanted to keep it inside and forget about it, but the more he tries to, the more he wanted to reveal it. Maybe he was talking about his feelings for YEH? 🤔

I said this because as much as I want to say they are dating behind people's back, I dont think it's true. Their body language during CP documentary is ackward, like 2 old high school friends (who has crush in the past to each other), but just reunited. GY is obviously showing signs he misses YEH as he shared his detail memory of intimate scene with YEH, and YEH just like little girl blushes... it really feels like a reunion of 2 people who crushed each other hard in the past but did not say it.. just like GY said.. CP is like first love to him.... he wants to keep it in his heart and not revisit it... but when he agreed to come to the CP reunion he said he glad he make the decision.. so GY and YEH.. pleaseeee act on it.. you are SOULMATE.. you just need to admit your feelings to each other!!
To many of us, GYEH was awkward because it's the first time they have been in 1 screen in 15 years. If there's nothing between them now, GY would never embarrass YEH by saying "She lifted my shirt, that wasn't scripted" and "we kissed a lot" etc. GY is usually careful in what he says, but not in the documentary. Yes, GY said he was hesitating about the documentary, that it could ruin his good memories, but I have a different interpretation to that. To me, he sounded a bit worried how the audience would react about the reunion.
Anyway there's a lot of proofs they're together, the strongest one is the mystery voice in YEH's live streaming, he sounds exactly like GY.

Thank you for this precious video. I just knew CP and watched all 17 episodes for the last 3 days. These two leading actors are so natural and adorable. I first knew of GY in Silent Sea. I didn’t moved by his acting and look. But the character he played in CP was shiny particularly when he was young at that time. YEH was very adorable that I fall in love immediately. Though lots of crews were around when filming the way they touched and kissed were so “real” .
Thank you for your comment. I'm glad you gave Coffee Prince a chance even though it's an old Kdrama. It's plot is simple but the characters are so real and loveable especially the main lead Gong Yoo and Yoon Eun Hye, they look naturally in love, their kisses and skinship is no joke.
GY said the reason he became Han Kyul was YEH, her passion in acting made him feel embarrassed and it helped him grow. YEH had a big impact in his career.

I do think GY and YEH is soulmate, they just did not realize it or they are restraining themselves for admitting their feelings to each other. When I rewatch CP again, it is obvious the chemistry was there and GY was often seen break out of character and showed his real feeling when he was in a scene with YEH (like when he hold Eun Chan with both hands and feet, I am sure it was not in the script! Or when he kiss Eun Chan shoulder in the morning after their first night!! I think it is GY not Han Kyul character that did that). It has been a year since this CP documentary. Friends of GY and YEH need to push these two to surrender and ADMIT that they love each other and they should not restrain themselves cause they are afraid of consequences (GY hinted he fely the time has slipped, it probably hinting that he is not confident to restart what they have in the past)..... I think these 2 are soul mate and they should be brave, they should act upon it..!!!
There are many possibilities. Based on the GYEH connections we have gathered throughout the years, GYEH has been together. GY seemed to be restraining himself at first. He said in an interview in Taiwan "The more I try to forget it, the more I want to reveal it" To me it sounds like he wanted to get rid of his feelings but ended up having stronger feelings. I do think he could restrain himself, but only in the first few years. To me, if he really have feelings for YEH, keeping it for almost 15 years is impossible, it's just too long. YEH had a plagiarism scandal and her reputation was unfortunately soiled, I think she wants to recover from that first before they reveal their relationship.
GY the way I look at it she is your peerfect mate.
I strongly believe YEH is the perfect person for GY. After all, she's the one who rekindled his passion for acting, that was the turning point of his life :)

GY is my favorite korean actor. He is charming and loved by many fans, including myself. I personally did not like this article as it just shows a one-sided expectation coming from GY...what HE wants FROM a woman. His expectations come out simple, yet needy. He expects a lot from a woman he can fall in love with, cook for him, massage his, understand him, expects to fit in with HIS lifestyle, etc., but there was NO mention of what he expects from a RELATIONSHIP. It takes 2 to form a relationship, in that what is he willing to contribute, how much is he ready to give, care and do for his lady. Can he give emotional support too to his woman, or does the woman only needs to be emotionally strong for both of them? It kind of feels selfish.
I truly wish both GY and Yoon Eun-Hye all the best if they were to get together and wish them both success, both in their personal and professional lives.

yes - i saw a recent BTS of YEH in one of her later dramas giving her costar massages. also, their sun signs are pretty compatible - GY is a cancer sun and YEH is a libra sun. i need to dig into their natal charts. they are a good fit because they are both gentler, softer signs.
i am looking back at the video again and a lot of the evidence is from the late 2000s. i think YEH must have been the women for him now. has he talked about his ideal women in the late 2010s?

how would you compare the relationship GY has with KGE? do you think she is a better romantic fit for him? i cant see how two people with 12 year age gap would have living experiences in common unless GY is stunted at a young age.
Reason #1 is from 2007. #2 is around 2010. #3 #4 #5 #6 #7 #8 are 2008-2009. #9 is 2013. #10 #11 #12 are from around 2018-2019. Gong Yoo was more open a decade ago. He doesn't talk much about his ideal girl nowadays compared to before.
People ship GY to most of his female castmates, Yoon Eun Hye, Im So Jung, Jung Yumi, Kim Go Eun, even to the host Jang Do Yeon. If fans really like his drama, they tend to ship him to his partner there even though there's nothing special going on, it's common among fans.
Based on GY's old interviews, he doesn't feel very comfortable with women much younger than him. So I don't think he and KGE are a good match. Also, if you watch the BTS of Coffee Prince and Goblin, you'll see a big difference. GY is a bit too touchy with YEH.

Decades have passed, so many things happened Check on jung yumi and gong yoo they looks comfortable to each other and to over think their is something deeper relationship between the two of them, I still love GYEH but to be in a relationship I no longer hope. A bit sad but as GYEH fan.
Coffee Prince documentary is more recent than what you mentioned. Thanks to it, I saw how comfortable GY and YEH are with each other. GY has never laughed like that with his other female castmates, and YEH is the only one he teases like that.
He even said to YEH "We kissed a lot" "I didn't notice you lifting my shirt because I was out of my mind" (while they were filming their kissing scene) Do you think he'd be like that to YEH if he was in a relationship with Yumi? If I were the "girlfriend" I wouldn't be happy with this. There was no need for GY to say those things, was there?
Back in 2007 he denied feeling anything during their kissing scenes but now he said he was actually out of his mind, meaning, he enjoyed kissing YEH a bit too much. But why reveal now? Even though GY said he's matured now and doesn't feel embarrassed, didn't, why didn't he think how YEH would feel about it? He had known it would be ok so he went through with it.

Honestly i really love and wish them both GYEH to be a real life partner...because of their personality traits that i believed are meant to be,but then when i knew that Gong Yoo had someone got frustrated and decided not to follow him anymore...sorry to say i know its their personal choice but it's just i hated it.
