we cannot determine this chronology unless we consult jewish literature like Jasher ,Enoch ,Jubilees they knew better they even calculated adam to Jesus as 5500 years(1st book of adam) and admitted they crucified the lord of Glory 5500 years from creation to current date of crucifixion (acts of Pilate). Adam was created on day 6 with all the other land animals. By Adam original sin entered the world and creation groaned. The Bible teaches that the wages of sin is death. Before Adam there was no death...no sin. Yet what you're saying is that there was death and disease before Adam. The Bible teaches part of the curse on Adam was weeds and thorns on the land...this came upon Adam after his sin. Yet, weeds have been found with dinosaurs...so if you believe dinosaurs lived long ago, how did those weeds come about? Exodus 20:11..states .... For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth and the sea and all that is in them, but on the seventh day He rested. Was that seventh day millions and billions of years...or a literal 24 hr day as the Bible states?

Geology, biology, and paleontology have consigned the biblical account of "creation" to the dustbin of archaic myth!
How have they done that? I ask, because the scientists who think that are actually ignoring the evidence supporting the biblical account, because they adopt a naturalistic view. As such, then citing the views of those scientists is a circular argument.

Why not just say that WHATEVER the universe is, God created it? Then you could just confidently agree with current science and move on to much more important things to think about.

I didn't claim that it had "scientific reality". Rather, it has _historical_ reality, and science is not the best tool for history.

I DO agree with current science. What I disagree with is the _naturalism_ (i.e. no-God view) that undergirds the _unscientific_ views of many scientists. How is it scientific to reject a supernatural explanation that has evidence supporting it simply because it's supernatural? That's not very scientific!

Inner System Inbound Christianity began at a time when belief in gods and demons was almost universal. There was little comprehension of the immutable laws of nature.
Today factual information is readily available so there is no valid excuse for believing in the myths and deceits so common two thousand years ago. There is no empirical evidence for supernatural beings or places. The evidence that the existence of all human life ends when the body dies is overwhelming.. This is the only life that humans will ever have and for the purveyors of religion to say otherwise is to engage in blatant deceit for their own benefit.

it was 430 years from the time Abraham received the promise, to the time the Israelites left Egypt. The Septuagint, which came long before the Masseteric text, was correct. Unfortunately nearly all bible translations come from the errorus Masseteric text. This is common knowledge to those who do their homework. The dead sea scrolls back up the Septuagint texts proving that what I claimed is accurate.

Still, abiogenesis has a few working theories that are quite plausible explanations for how non-living matter gave rise to living matter. It is really a fascinating field of study. Please note that this is not an example of where the bible is correct where it touches on biology. Oh, my parting thought. Science cannot explain abiogenesis, that is inescapably true! But neither can you. You have no explanation either.

The creation story is meant to be taken literally.
The Hebrew word 'Yom' means 'Day' and is used very specifically throughout the Bible; to refer to a 24 hour period of time.
Never once does it refer to anything longer than a day, so I don't understand the controversy in the text.

Science is constantly in correction, but the word of The Almighty stands firm. Its amazing to see biblical fact unearthed as we (our technology & capabilities evolve). The more advanced society becomes, the more we are able to uncover the marvels written in the Bible. We now have evidence of Exodus: Hebrews crossing the Red Sea, & Egyption soldiers crushed under the waves. Jehovah has not only embedded codes in His words but in our DNA. 50 years ago we would not be able to see these things and He is revealing mysterious proofs to us as time grows near for Jesus' return. God was, is, and always will be the same. He doesn't change, science is always finding itself in error and changing...

You will not see the media making big news out of any of it because people who don't know God Almighty hate His followers and Him; they will not do anything to possibly encourage Christian faith. Good rational explanation of the dating of creation. I have 3 criticisms:
- The dates that we have begin after The Fall - NOT after Creation. We have no idea how long Adam ‘walled with God’ before the fall.
- The word for day is used in 4 different meanings in the first chapters of Genesis. He calls the light Day, even before He creates the sun; He calls each period of creation a “day”. It says He rested on the 7th “day” even though He never rests (similarly it says He finished creation ON the 7th day, before saying he rested that (implied entire) day. And finally he says that in the “day” that Adam eats the fruit he shall die. Again, that was not a 24-hr day. [Ed: I believe in the dating from the Fall, but am agnostic about the exact timing of Creation].
- I was glad to see him bring in the Septuagint (LXX), since the Masoretic text was corrupted by the jews who rejected Jesus to change/remove messianic prophecies. The LXX was translated into greek about 250 years before Jesus and was the scriptures that everyone used at the time (including - especially - Paul). Using the longer time span of the LXX also provides enough time for the secular king lists of the Egyptians and the Babylonian/Sumerians.
But overall a very good analysis of the timing of the period after the creation/fall.
Only 3 criticism and your a skeptic. Haven't you ever considered the definitive age of the universe? It's been proven and peer reviewed to be 13.8 billion years old.

@@canadiankewldude The age of the Earth is known very precisely and the dating can be done by INDEPENDENT dating techniques. Independent techniques means that the different dating methods do not depend on how the other dating is done, and none of details of the measurements are shared between the different techniques. All the methods agree with each other to within very tight tolerances!
Young Earth Creationists fight these well established scientific facts in one of two ways, they either say all of Science is flawed and can't be trusted (yet they use their smart phones and computers, ride in cars and airplanes!!) or they say that the radioactive decay constants or the initial conditions were incorrect. Scientists don't require initial conditions in many of the dating techniques to be known, so that objection is garbage also!
All this focus on GENESIS is just mans EGO or its because they are making money on their videos.
Jesus Christ was and is the ONLY IMPORTANT conclusion to BIBLICAL HISTORY. The entire AGE of the EARTH question really doesn't matter, and as a Science teacher that teaches at a Christian high school, I find these YOUNG EARTH CREATIONISM views are turning many more young people away from Christ thay toward Christ.
This is my humble opinion on all of this...
My last piece of advice is LISTEN to the PhD Geologists and Physicists that are also Christians on the AGE of the EARTH and UNIVERSE. None of these Christians thinks the Earth is young, none!! It's always BIOLOGISTS , CHEMISTS, or these BIBLICAL SCHOLARS looking backwards when they should be looking FORWARDS towards JESUS CHRISTS second coming and winning souls to Christ.

Take any date available for the Patriarch Abraham 2165BC has demonstrated correct for me, and continue back to Adam. So, Gen 11:26 = Terah was 70yrs old when he begat Abraham. Thus 2165 +70= 2235BC.
Gen. 11:24, Nahor begat Terah @ 29yrs old. So, 2235BC +29= 2464BC. Straight back to Adam. Note: When you get to Shem in Gen. 11:10 the timeline continues at Gen. 5:32 from Noah on back to Adam. Since Abraham does have DOB We can be confident that he actually lived. And NO, there is no break in this timeline. This timeline has pre-existed the one offered up to us by “the wisdom of men.” You can thank Darwin for that red-herring. All secular narratives provide a DOB for Abraham. I think the Bible only deals with the Celestial calendar that is explained in Genesis. It uses the sun for days, moon phases for months, and the stars returning to a position for years all in sync also revealing the appointed times.

I’m a Christian myself, and this man’s calculation of the human history is really well done. But he assumes that the day of each creation in Genesis is taken literally. However, there is a whole nother can of worms to unpack when considering the old earth theory. If you are a open-minded Christian, I encourage you to search up “A Christian physicist examines the age of the Earth”, by Steven Ball, Ph. D. I’m his findings he estimates earth to be at a similar age to the Darwinian theory. The worst thing is the watch a video and believe what someone says. You must make your own opinion through real deep study. Often Christian people tell me to believe this or believe that. Turns out their “knowledge” on whatever they are trying to explain is shallow and often just passed around from someone who told them about it.

I am a Christian. I think that it is Amazing that someone would actually try to do an estimation of the age of the earth based upon biblical accounts. We Christian say what we say. So According too Robert Carter, we can estimate that from biblical Accounts, the age of the earth from the date of creation is X. The records for genealogy are very specific.
Scientists would put our scientific estimation of earth a X. We use carbon dating along with other methods to estimate that.
The thing about this is that we also say that Jesus is god. What is not taken into account, and I won't argue with physical records or estimates from that. But I think someone would do a comparison of the age of the earth based upon the Big bang, in comparison with biblical records in a similar way, in this video, we do not take into account the way that time is also spoken about in comparison to Mans time vs Gods time. There is a specific verse that speaks about that difference.

When the dead sea scrolls were discovered, they read the old testament books and got confirmation, all the surviving texts prior to the 12th century all say "it was 430 years from the time of Abraham until the Israelite Exodus from Egypt." On March 28, 27 AD, Friday, after sunset, Jesus read Isaiah 61:2 and stopped after saying “Acceptable Year of Yahweh”. It was the Jewish New Year Nisan 1. Even though Jesus was born on Tishri 1, 3 BC, he celebrated his 30th year on his 29th year as his Bar Mitzvah was at 12 instead of at 13th. The 6 months advance in birthday was their belief that an infant is born at the 1st trimester of pregnancy. This acceptable year was a one year skip in Jubilee counting which started on the first Yom Kippur in 3986 BC Fall of Adam unto the 120th Jubilee on 2016 AD Rise of Trump. The 70 weeks of Daniel never refers to the physical Temple built by man but to the real Temple, the messiah, Jesus. Only when Jesus was baptized by John on February 13, 27 AD that the holy spirit came upon him. Unlike John who received his holy spirit while he was still in the womb of Elizabeth, Jesus baptism was the start of the commandment to rebuild Jerusalem. What follows was the 40 days of Temptations while he was fasting. This was equivalent to Eve’s 40 days of temptations after her 777th Sabbath after birth. On Jesus, his baptism was on his 3 days plus 40 days plus 777th Sabbath plus 700th Sabbath from his birth on September 11, 3 BC, Tishri 1. The 1st 7 weeks after baptism was his 1st entry to Jerusalem on April 3, 27 AD, Thursday followed by cleansing the Temple the next day. This cleansing was the start of his 55 weeks ministry. One year is usually 52 weeks or 364 days but 28 AD is a pregnant year wherein Adar 2 was added as every year, passover was 11 days earlier. This happened on 28 AD and 31 AD. Also, dont add 62 weeks to 7 weeks to get 69 weeks. Rather, the 62 weeks is 7 weeks plus 55 weeks. The end of the 55 weeks was Friday, April 23, 28 AD, the 2nd cleansing of the Temple. After this day, he was cutoff as the sacrificial lambs are taken home for anointing. Jesus fulfilled 440 days of the 70 weeks of Daniel. Even the last 6 days after the 62nd week was not included by Daniel 9. The last 50 days of Daniel will resume at the rapture of the Body of Christ this Passover 2021, the end of 1290 day prophecy and will end on May 17, 2021 after the wedding of the Bride of Christ to the Body of Christ whose date no one knows, only the father know, but will start at the end of 1335 days May 12th.

So he can generate light without the sun and stars, he created light in the first place. In the Bible, when God manifests himself, he often appears as a blinding light. Moses was blinded for days, and his face glowed just from seeing the light of God indirectly while hiding behind a rock. God exists outside of nature, therefore He is not bound by the laws of nature. He created the laws of nature, which we are bound by. The premise of trying to impose natural restrictions on a supernatural God is silly.

In my mind that was just the way earth was created... when Jesus changed water to wine the wine was aged as noted by comment on old New wine. The time from John to Adam sin was about 4000Y but Adam was not first man. Jesus said from the beginning God made them male and female..Jesus did not say from beginning, Adam & Eve... man and woman & earth in Gen1 are not Adam Eve in Garden Eden of Gen2. How do you consolidate Mark 10 beginning of creation of male female, when we know scripture says Eve was made after the 6bday creation. Genesis was written by Moses. Moses had no clue and had never met Adam or Adams ancestors. Moses only knew to write how old Adam and his genealogy was because God told him EXACTLY what to write on Mt Saini. Of everything we know about God, he is not one to round off numbers, he is extremely and lawfully precise.

Moses didn't wrote Genesis or the Bible ! The Bible was written about 700 B.C.E, not 1500 or 1400 BCE. The account of creation is accurate if you understand that the Bible says "In the beginning God made the heavens and the earth." After he created the earth it became null and void (a mess...uninhabitable for anyone). The earth may have remained that way for thousands or millions of years. At some point, God's spirit hovered over the "water covered earth" and in 5 days he changed it so it would be habitable for man; on day 6 he put man on it. Bible and Science are in sync with the account of what God actually did. The real problem is people don't interpret the Bible correctly....

To date the Biblical age of the earth wouldn't it be a good idea to use the Hebrew Calendar instead of the Roman Calendar that the whole world pretty much uses. Because if you use that it says 15 Av 5779 which is equal to the 17 Aug 2019 on the Roman Calendar. What I get out of that is just less than 6000 yrs

It's all fascinating indeed and I have seen 3 of your videos so far concerning race, timelines and creation. So my question for a young earth is if we are given any information to go on to verify that? I am talking about the age of the Earth before the creation of man! From Adam to Eve (actually Chawah in Hebrew), we can count out approximations and we know we are close to the end of 6,000 years, so why not use Yowbel/Jubillee years to calculate backwards and forwards from known dates and important events? Surely the Jubilees - 50 years are large segments of time to help with time verification! 20 jubilees per 1,000 years so 6,000 years would be 120 jubilees and the most important events happen on Jubilee years! Remember, a day is as a thousand years! 6 days of man, one of God, 6 days per week and one of rest, a Sabbath! 120 Jubilees = the maximum number of days of man's life expectancy after the flood which was 120 years - or 6,000 years of man divided by 120 = 50 a jubilee year!
What were created during the very first 6 daylights are:
1. Day or light on the surface of the once dark, empty, and all water-surface earth.
2. The sky or the expanse just above the surface of the earth, or the heaven we can literally see from earth.
3. The dry land which was also called as earth because it is a part of the earth underwater, and also the vegetation on it.
4. He made the luminaries to be seen in the sky. {Perhaps, he made the atmosphere more thinner to make them visible from earth.)
5.) The creatures of the sea and of the air.
6.) The animals and man.
Notice that the luminaries or sources of light we're not created on the fourth day but they were just made to appear in the sky, or through the sky. The sun, moon, and stars were already existing since before God made the very first daylight on earth by perhaps making the thick atmosphere that covers the dark earth to become thinner, so that light can breakthrough, although they were not yet visible, not until on day 4, when God made them to appear.
Therefore, before the very first 6 daylights, the heavens or universe and earth were already created. Genesis 1:1 says, In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The universe includes the billions of galaxies, stars, and planets but the Earth was covered yet with darkness in those unknown length of time, and no dry land yet, and empty of any life forms.
If we count then from the days of Adam down to our present time, we are not counting the actual age of our planet or the universe, but just the age of human on earth.
Just an observation, if you age the earth based on their ages maybe we are missing a lot of time as Adam and Eve only started to count their age after they sinned and that is when God cursed them that they will die, hence we cannot count their age before they sinned as they were immortal at that time. My point is, this counting system (if ever this is accurate) would only give us the idea of when they committed the sin and not the age of the earth. I believe in a literal 6 days creation and the 7th day being the resting day but we can never tell how long Adam and Eve live before they sinned as they are not counting their age as they were immortal and not aging before they sinned. Yes, I know Im just repeating my statement but that is just to make a point. 😅
Good point but if you take God saying in the day you eat it you shall surely die and the fact a day in the eyes of God are as 1000 years then Adam would have been 70 when they sinned. Still not a huge time gap.

The ancient Jewish word used was nonspecific as to time and simply means a period of time . Hi. Hebrew is my 1st language. The word יום literally means a day, nothing else. Maybe what the scholar you spoke to meant, is that in jewish tradition, the sun moon and stars were not placed in their placements till wednesday, but that light/energy/radiation was created on the 1st day, and so if we measure "a day" by the earth's 24 hour roatation on its axis and relation to the sun, what then are the "days" considered before wednesday? Are they 24 hour periods just without the traditional understanding of a day being daytime and night time, or were they diff measures of time.

"It was evening/mixture and it was morning/order, one day" the word is literal, its "day". Scripture always refers to Yom as day, never as something more. (Reason i wrote evening/mixture is bc the hebrew word for evening ערב comes from עירבוב which means disorder, while the word for morning בוקר comes from ביקורת which means to put into order. In kabbala tradition, in the evening God took what was disorder and made it into order, each day with its specfics).

@@koolaidman4461 according to Jewish tradition, from the 6th day of creation till now it is exactly 5782 years (meaning, the earth orbiting around the sun those exact times).
However, during the year of the flood the system of the orbits were on total hold/pause, as the verse says in Genesis 8:22 which implies that during the flood all that is mentioned in that verse was on pause/on hold.
The methods in which deeptime and old earth scientists use rely strictly on the assumption that he laws of physics have always been the same since creation (or what they would call the big bang), but in our traditon, that is absolutely false/untrue, meaning, we know for a fact (in our 3300+ year old traditon, having nothing to do with proving the earth or universes age) that the laws of physics as we know them today changed dramatically at diff times. 1stly, that the laws of physics themselves during the 1st 5 1/2 days of creation were not AT ALL set laws as we have them today. Then on the 6th day itself when adam was created the laws of physics changed even more. Then after adams sin the laws of physics changed but did not yet become what they are today, and all the way till the flood reality and the laws that govern reality were still totally diff than what they are today. [Thats why before the flood everyone lived such long lives while right after the flood everyones lives dwindled greatly, so much so that at the end of Genesis when pharo asks Jacob how old he was, pharo was in total shock at how old Jacob was]. After the flood and after God recreated existence under a new order, reality became more or less what it is today and what we know it as today.
Also need to take into account for example the miracle that happened for Joshua where the sun was set in the sky for many more hours, in which altho that event was still one day, that one day was many more hours than a normal day etc.
However i must say tho, in our tradition, the 1st 6 days are literal 24 hour days. Altho the laws of physics and reality then is totally diff that what it is now, relativity, still from being alive then, it was a literal 24 hour period. Were those hours and moments expanded and much more than what we experience now? Acc to our tradition, yes. In our tradition, what they were able to accomplish in one day, would take us many years to accomplish now in this new after the flood system of reality.
In our tradition (in the talmud) during the flood even the stars and whole constellations in space were moved by God, causing for a total new reality than what it was before hand.
So the assumption that the laws of physics have always been at a constant is exactly that, a assumption, which our authentic tradition from moses says is a false assumption.
Kind of like those verses from Iyov (Job) where God asks him "were you there when I created everything?" Meaning, who are you mere flesh and blood that you make assmptions and conclusions, were you there to know how I made everything? No, you weren't.
The Q to any non-believer should then be "why do you assume you know how God made His universe? You don't, and your assumptions are based on the preconception that God didn't wish to have a ready universe and earth in 6 days, but thats your own disservice, bc you from the onset reject, blind yourself, and lock yourself out from the potential actual truth, and the real Q is, why? But; Genesis 1:1 “God created the heavens and the earth.”
Genesis 1:2 “and the earth was without form, and void~”
Isaiah 45:18 “~God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain~”
Young humanity. Very old Earth. We can pinpoint humanity, but we can not pinpoint the earth. It could be billions, millions, or a few thousand. We have absolutely no way of knowing thanks to Genesis 1:2.
