In People Puzzler, hosted by Leah Remini, three contestants put their pop culture knowledge to the test to complete crosswords in a show based on the iconic puzzles in People Magazine. The player who has won the most points after three rounds will move on to the Fast Puzzle Bonus Round where they will have the opportunity to win a cash prize.

Some strategy hints:
Game 1: If you're going for your 3rd word in a row, pick the easiest word on the board to get. Who cares if it's a short word, you get 100 points for getting it. There was a "Z _ _" just screaming "Pick me!" You'd have two of the three letters. Toni Ann instead goes for the 2nd letter out of an 11 letter word and predictably misses it.
Game 2: It's a two word phrase and the first word is obviously "Princess". Pick the letter of the OTHER word. Don't pick the 2nd letter of Princess which you know!

This show is all about SCREAMING AND CLAPPING every time the host says $10,000!!!!
The entire 'game' takes about 5 minutes of play and the rest is explaining how it is played & commercials.
You have to admit that was pretty badass of her to go for the longest word. Do you happen to know her number?
I’m really enjoying watching this game show as well! They make me think along with them. At the same time I’m looking at what Leah Remini wears it just catches my eyes & I’m enjoying her as the “host.”
I was just channel surfing and saw this for the first time. Leah looks GREAT!! She is so likable, I love seeing her in any format. It was good to see!

How can you compliment a bad host since she changed her lips she cannot read fast and makes it all about herself ,meanwhile contestants loose money
The host has this dry sarcastic wit that I think really elevates the show, rather than the standard “I’m gonna put on a fake smile no matter what happens” hosts.
She and Steve Harvey stand out to me as funny hosts.
I like her but she sounds a bit condescending at times.

For the head-to-head round, the leader should pick a category, but then the other player should play the other category with the leader needing to beat that score to reach the final round.
I wish you designed the game instead of whoever else did.
What you said makes sense, but to make it a bit interesting make them wager points to see how much they really are sure of the category, kind of like how they do Final Jeopardy!
but the points still wouldn’t be enough as the dude got a 1000 point bonus, and he was already ahead of her by a lot. So even if she did play the femme fatale, she wouldn’t have caught up to him. But yeah, this game is the most stupid game show i’ve ever seen.
I don’t know why she let him pick first since he was in the lead. Usually they let the person with the lower amount go first.
The first time I heard of Leah Remini was the fact she voiced the character Carbine in the original 1990s version of the cartoon "Biker Mice from Mars," even though she's really famous for starring in "The King of Queens" and "Kevin Can Wait."
I also agree with the other CZcams commenters who said that this game was way too easy. On the other hand, it balances out with the other game shows that are hard or difficult.
Also, I wonder if it would work better in Round 3 if the person trailing goes first, instead of the player in the lead.
Don't forget you are under studio lights and pressure to get answers, so it might be harder to do.

I like the game, though it could be more difficult. But in the head-to-head round, the person who's behind should go first. Take a look at "25 Words of Less" and its "build your board" round. They always tell the player with the lower potential total score to go first. That way both sides get to play.

Yes, but if playing a game of strategy, you want to go in with the most points and then go first, otherwise the person with lower points could easily “steal” the game/winning.

Great show great host. I love her sarcasm
i'm actually getting tired of her sarcasm. Leah needs to lighten up a little. Seriously, she will chastise the contestants sometimes if they guess the wrong word or if they guess the correct word and they take so long to come up with the right word. She'll ask the contestant why the s/he took so long to answer. Which i think is unnecessary bullshit on the host's part. As long as they came up with the right answer, why should it matter how long they take to come up with that answer? Do you have any ideas on why she acts like this towards the contestants?
@@matthewrivera5923 well the contestants have to come up with an answer in a timely fashion, whether the answer is right or wrong. Honestly, I love Leah’s personality but if you don’t like her you shouldn’t watch the show.

LOL, I knew all the answers. This is the first one I've watched, so I'm going to keep on watching to see if it was a fluke or it's a very easy game.
I feel the same way, although I missed one. I've never seen "Ghostbusters," so I didn't know that Staypuft was the brand of marshmallow man that wrecks havoc in the movie. Otherwise, I got all of them correct.
It took me a while to figure out that I misclicked and this was in fact not “Watch people Die inside compilation”

@@zainpunjwani470 It's not that different from a throw-away game of jeopardy though, which sometimes happen when one player nails it. What they might want to do is to increase the difficulty level.
