- Tugs Tales Series 1: Episode 4 - Bulstrode
Plot: Bulstrode is a rude barge disliked by all in Bigg City Port. But one day he suddenly breaks down, unfortunately for him that's the least of his worries.
Happy Christmas everyone! Here is not a Christmas story. As I did a Tugs Christmas story last year I felt like skipping doing a Christmas story and instead going to do a New Year's themed episode. Coming very soon!
This is so cool!! Loved the models, I think my favorite shot is that one where Sunshine tries (and fails) to get Top Hat’s help haha. I love the scaling difference between them! Bulstrode’s inclusion felt surprisingly natural, it’s satisfying seeing him get his comeuppance haha. That glossy blue tile beneath the set looks great, too! Really feels like water! Really great to see someone doing a proper TUGS series!

This series is legit the best thing about this channel. So good to see Bulstrode used for a TUGS work so brilliantly. Haven’t seen this since a 2009 redub by Jivio.
The classic Michael Angelis voice is perfect for Bulstrode.

Damn Alex this was really good, easily my favorite of the episodes you’ve done, at no point did I ever feel bored or like something was dragged out for too long and it was consistently entertaining just like a official episode. Excellent work!

This episode was based on a TTTE episode called "Special Attraction".
The fact you adapted this from a RWS book in Tugs form is very interesting.
Wouldn’t say it was as good as Zug. But still a decent enough little story and episode for my liking.

Only just discovered this series today, but I really enjoyed this episode! It's always nice to see more fan content for Tugs- ^^
If I may offer just one critique though, if it's possible maybe slightly tone done the echo on Puffa and Big Mickey, I could hardly understand what they were saying for the most part-

Probably not. I'm really not the best at talking about the process of making models. But very soon Arlo's Trains is making one the Big Mickey model he made for the series on his own channel. So that's the closest really to a episode 9 coming.

This is a different canon to Thomas. This Bulstrode has never been to Sodor, but instead has always lived in Big City Port.

I'm afraid I've only made Ten Cents, Sunshine, Warrior and only very recently Top Hat. I plan on having the whole Star Fleet present in the series before the end of 2023
