So far I really like this Argan Life shampoo! For being sulfate free, you still get a nice lather and my hair feels very clean. I paired it with argan oil conditioner and my hair was so soft and shiny. This is great for a natural shampoo!
As a hairstylist can I just say that this is an amazing balayage for doing it yourself, I have yet to master the balayage but I have done this on myself a few years ago and it's actually a great method. Most hair stylists frown upon this but go girl if you got the skill the product doesn't matter!
I watched like 10 videos and lots of googling on how to do your own balayage at home for like 2 hours with lots of "nopes" and almost changing my mind and your 14 minute video is what's making me go to the drugstore and dye my hair tonight. thank. you.
I've been dying my hair myself for 11 years and I'm going to try balayage today and I'm so scared 😂 you make it look effortless though and it looked gorgeous at the end! Wish me luck haha
Wow, that turned out amazing. I wish I was that good with hair at your age... I just want to add a couple things (sorry if they are really obvious): 1) Instead of rubbing the dye backwards with your hands pick up a tint brush from any beauty store they are like 2 bucks and save your hair from fraying in that fragile state. 2) Only buy a purple shampoo if your hair is brown/red/dark, if your hair is ashy or already a different blonde I would save the money. It wont hurt, but there won't be any warm tones to take out. 3) I WOULD wear both gloves just in case, I know it's being overly cautious but allergic reactions can happen (even if you haven't had them with dye before a new brand could) so having it on your hands would be much much worse than just your head, better be safe than sorry :)
This is so good! And you’re so sweet and detailed in you’re videos and took your time and wasn’t too fast 😭♥️ A+ thank you very much for posting this, I only have purple shampoo, developer, and the powder and I was gunna use my hands but didn’t know if that was okay lol first time dying my hair at home so let hope it turns out not too bad lol great video!😊♥️
I have medium brown hair and I went to a salon for a balayage. They charged me $100 and barely lifted any color. They said I would have to come back again and would charge another $100. I tried this and it did not turn out bad! I will have to do it one more time for a brighter blonde! This has saved me so much!
Great job! Something I've used in the past as a toner instead of the purple shampoo is just a regular white shampoo with a itty bit of manic panic semi-permanent dye in either purple or blue (depending on if my hair pulls orange or yellow that time), and use that in place of your shampoo step! Leaves so much good moisture! (:
you seriously did a better, did i say better, i mean and INCREDIBLE job. I got this done at a salon and with a discount they charged me $200, not counting my tipping $40. I spent the whole day at the salon and I even missed my daughter's event. You did it for much, much less and in less time. I really wish I would have seen this video before. Plus yours looks natural, i wound up with a line across. Im coloring my hair this weekend, God willing, trying to correct the brassiness and bringing the intense yellow I got going down to a caramel tone. Thank you for this video.
It did. I couldnt do what you did because my hair was already bleached. But i did bring the yellow tones down and i used the ourple shampoo the way u showed. Tha k you again. Look forward to more videos from you
Wow - the result was amazing! Totally didn't expect it to look that good. And you know what - I loved how simple your videos are. You kept it real, without the fancy showoffs, and pretentious high-maitenance irrelevancies. Keep these videos coming! Good job
I watched a stylist do this and she said do the front first so that it’s brighter so you get a more sunkissed look. And always do your ends first because the top will develop faster.
I do the same thing:) and it really looks beautiful. I love just adding little pieces one at a time over multiple bleaching sessions. It reallly adds demention and looks more natural as oppose to just bleaching all of your hair at once. And allows the hair to remain healthy at the same time! Great video!
Love this... Everyone elses diy videos for this is like tin foil and cotton swabs and amillion different products.. This is def more my style. And the best end results! So excited to do this monday and going to look at the rest of your videos thx for this hun!
mindblowing...you took the balayage to the next level..i was pretty much scared of doing this by my own but after watching this video would preferably try doing this for sure..
thank you so much for this!! i was really scared to do it by myself so i was thinking about going to a solon but that’s sooo expensive! but after seeing this and how yours turned out i’m totally doing it by myself!
OMG I'm shocked!! It looks so fucking good!! 😍 Since last year I'm trying to be blonde and everytime when I go to the salon it's never perfect! Thanks for your tutorial I'm going to do the same now!
I guess my hands are sensitive. I cannot personally do any hair dye bleach etc without gloves. I've done my hair many times to save money & have done it just like this and other ways too. It always turns out good. I'm glad yours have too. Good work 👏
Honestly how I do it is how they did it on me at the salon it's so easy all you do is put a high ponytail very close to the front of your head and apply the color
Purple shampoo is not a toner, it will not get your hair to a nice ashy color from just splattering it on you head. You need to actually tone your hair and then use purple shampoo to prevent it from going back to yellow, that’s why her hair was still brassy at the end. Also, if you have more of an orange color you need blue shampoo! Blue cancels out orange and purple cancels out yellow :)
This turned out SO good! I need to try this out again. LOL. Haven't done a balayage/ombre in my hair in a couple of years. This made me miss it! Definitely something I want to do before summer hits again. This looks absolutely beautiful on you! You did a wonderful job!
Girlpopglam uhh me and cousin just winged it. we took most of the bleach in the ends and then lightly brushed it up. and then we took foil and placed over where we took the bleach and waited a while.
That looks amazing! i have blonde highlights but I had them done in February and they've kinda faded so my mum is going to put more into it sometime next week and I'm going to ask her if she can do this because the outcome looks amazing! Thank you for the video
I used this video last night to remind myself of tutorials I had seen before so I could ombre my own hair. This works GREAT with the whole finger method in order to make it look like a great fade. I love this look because unlike a full dye to the roots, when my hair grows, I don't have to worry about it looking funky and it always blends in even as it fades. I really appreciate the slow down and you going over what to do with fingers. I used a cool platinum tone and purple shampoo and conditioner, but it is still warmer than I would like. Is there a purple toner I can purchase (not a stylist, so no license here) to help cool this down? The purple shampoo isn't working.
What kind of camera do you use?? It looks so nice! And I really wanna do this to my hair, I used to highlight my hair with the same stuff back in 6th grade, but last time I tried it (7th grade, three years ago) my hair barely took to it at all. But I hope this works!
This is awesome! I just watched a different girl do this too. Only thing is she also did the top of the back of her head and I think that it looks more complete. Next time try it out ! And I think it would look even better !! Xoxo
Not gonna lie I wasn't expecting it to look that good in the end 😍👌🏼
Same
Hanem Sadek me neither!
Hanem Sadek I
Omg sameee
Dude! No kidding! I was a little nervous for a minute. Looks awesome!
The funny thing is I’M a hair dresser and I clicked on YOUR video so I could see how to balayage my hair at home, great job tbh you go girl😂
Marina Romo same 😂
Saaaame 😭😂
Same 😂
You don’t sound like a hair dresser
I'm not even kidding my jaw dropped when I saw the results!! It looks soo professional!

Bella De Souza mine did too!
where'd you buy it?
Sameeeee
No it didn’t it’s yellow?!

You saved me about 100$ at a salon just now 🙌🏻
The cheapest price I could find at a salon was starting at $75. Doing research I shall attempt someday. LoL.
@@learningasigo6424 how did it go?
You did a wonderful and thorough job, as a stylist and educator of almost thirty years...I should know. Well done.
fuck you
samina kanwal Fuck you too :4

Speechless!!!!!! Many hairdressers who think they know balayage but they don't should see this! Will do this after my hair grow long again!
wow it looks amazing! I'm actually about to dye my hair and I'm scared but you were so brave so I'm going to just go for it!:)) xx
me too!
How was it?
Okay this is the BEST method... I’ve used it at home several times. Saves me so much money!!!
I've been dying my hair myself for 11 years and I'm going to try balayage today and I'm so scared 😂 you make it look effortless though and it looked gorgeous at the end! Wish me luck haha

Wow! I went to my hair dresser to do baylage/ombre for me and yours literally looks better than mine rn!
This is so good! I love the waves/curls afterward as well! I wish I knew how to do those XD
Love the hair! I believe, if ya use a blue shampoo you’ll come out more blonde ;)
Use color wheel...blue cancels orange and purple cancels yellow etc.

Wow - the result was amazing! Totally didn't expect it to look that good. And you know what - I loved how simple your videos are. You kept it real, without the fancy showoffs, and pretentious high-maitenance irrelevancies. Keep these videos coming! Good job
Wow I cannot believe how great it turned out!!!
+Allie Parkvold is it permanent??
It's bleach. Yes it's permanent. Anything with bleach is taking the color out of your hair.
I like how you explained how you did it so well & on top of that it came out amazing 😍👏🏻
I watched a stylist do this and she said do the front first so that it’s brighter so you get a more sunkissed look. And always do your ends first because the top will develop faster.
This is what DIY is all about, good video!
I do the same thing:) and it really looks beautiful. I love just adding little pieces one at a time over multiple bleaching sessions. GIRL your hair is AWESOME. I am OBSESSED. Watching your video helped me have the strength to do my hair at home!
Wow she did an amazing job!! Looks absolutely flawless!!
Very beautiful! I paid 116£ for a balayage that didn't look as good as this! Next time I must try it your way!
HordPianoStudio wow that is expensive here in Spain (not in a fancy place) they charge like 45$
This girl is so pretty and holy cow that's a good dye job. I think it turned out good because it was more intuitive and less of a step by step thing
Soooo didn't expected the result to be so good, this is the best balayage tutorial I've ever seen so far
Love it !
your hair turned out amazing 😍 i’m trying this tomorrow
I know I'm quite late to the party, but I just wanted to say this looks so good! And your personality is so inviting, I feel like we're friends.💖
So obsessed with this look! You did an amazing job!
This ended up looking way better than I thought it would!
Oml I spent 10 minutes trying to find the gloves in the instructions😂
random band trash sameeee😂😂😂
The first time I did this I couldn’t find them and just did it bare handed 😬 it was horrible

She reminds me of Annie Le Blanc and also I love the result of it as well
highlight on for 25 to 30 minutes.
Purple shampoo 10 minutes.
Im totally impressed you did that with a box kit! You go Girl! Looks great! Would love to know how you style it to get those gorgeous beachy waves!

Eyebrows hair and the mark above her lip and eyes looks like Annie bratayley omgggg

I bought the frost and tip highlighting kit today.. about to try to follow this tutorial!! I hope it works out
Thank you I'm going to buy one right now and use it on my hair thank you so much this saved me a lot of time at a hair salon
Stunning results I wish I could do this I can't get hold of frost and glow awesome job thank you for sharing ;-)
wow such a good job im hella amazed. with box dye tho. goals ♡♡♡
I am going to do this soon. And I have short hair hopefully it will still be as pretty as yours!
i have short hair too, how'd it go?
Girlpopglam uhh me and cousin just winged it. we took most of the bleach in the ends and then lightly brushed it up. and then we took foil and placed over where we took the bleach and waited a while.
Girlpopglam it didn't show so much then but now like 5/4 months later it has started to show a lot more.
Elsa Granvik okay thank you i might try it
Best video for balayage ever!!! Love it and your attitude! Very well spoken and so easy to follow!
Omg!! You did an incredible job! Wow congrats! You're so talented !! 👏🏻👏🏻❤️
Does anyone else think she looks like Annie Leblanc?! Her facial features do a lot! Anyway it looks STUNNING good job 👏🏼
Great tutorial! But wear gloves on both hands girl! Bleach can severely burn and irritate your skin! Just looking out for you!
That looks amazing! i have blonde highlights but I had them done in February and they've kinda faded so my mum is going to put more into it sometime next week and I'm going to ask her if she can do this because the outcome looks amazing! Thank you for the video

thanks for showing us! I have the same purple shampoo. Your hair came out great!
Omg the results are amazing!!!! I absolutely LOVE it!! 😍
wow😍 your hair tunned out sooooo beautyful ! & it looks like you did it in a salon!
Thank you so much for this video! I'm just about to do mine and I'm so nervous but this really helps!
That's exactly the way I want my color pattern!! Thank you, girl😄😄😄
I will be doing this soon and I'm very nervous 😁

i thought this would not look good in the end but it look stunning 😍
trying it now myself. if your hair is any longer than yours, get TWO packs of dye!!!! you do not want to run out halfway through!
Oh my god. Your hair looks so great!
I'm definitely trying this in a couple of days. I just bleached my hair so I'm waiting to do another process 😆
This is awesome! I just watched a different girl do this too. Only thing is she also did the top of the back of her head and I think that it looks more complete. Next time try it out ! And I think it would look even better !! Xoxo
Thank you so much for the tips.. I love what you've done with your hair...
it turned out so good! I was really amazed
Your hair looks amazing girl!! 😻 but my hairs a lot darker than yours , do you think it will come out the same ?
How do you curl your hair like that?
OH MY GOSH!! It's BEAUTIFUL!!! I'm dying my hair tomorrow! I'm so excited! NEW SUBSCRIBER!😍❤️
Your balayage came out excellent. Congratulations.
