Thank you for this. I actually just tried to find a video on psychoanalysis by Lacan but I stayed for the whole video. The topic is really interesting and I like how you change between introducting the topics with the camera on you and explaining them with those presentation sheets.

An informative introduction to the key theorists and social movements leading into and past contemporary feminist thought, also of its edification in 'continental' theory. Now onto the more important part of the comment... Good choice of picture for Lacan, I can literally image him spraying water all over my face through the screen. ty

Hello the makers of UGC, EPG Pathsala and professors
    • Simply reading from ppt or slide or notes won’t help madam, please come with practical day- today simple , tangible examples which can be observed, felt and seen in real life and explain in these practice in simple language to demystify those concepts. it no use if it narrates the same as taken from the books like of Peter Barrys, Beginning Theory and Rafey Habibs’ Modern Literary Criticism and Theory

Not sure, if youwould take into account the comments. I would advice, next time please don't just read the slides. You sounded like a news reader. Make it sound like a conversation. Which would make it seem that u are well aware of the concepts yourself.

The dominant patriarchal structure which subjugates women is dependent upon homosocial desire, not homosexual as you have pointed out in your lecture; this symbolic exchange of women as goods in the market like many other commodities resembles the ideas of structuralist kinship propounded by Claude Levi Strauss.

I have read the comments and I found that there are numbers of people criticizing you for your pronouncing lacan instead of jacques which is truly you made huge mistake, but I felt they are more joules with your " beauty with brain " perhaps I might be wrong but I genuinely felt while reading the comments.
If someone is making mistake or giving wrong information about the text or providing less resources. It's our duty to bring them in right direction by criticizing him/ her .but but try to avoid those words which let them feel awkward or disrespectful. We are human beings errornous is part and parcel for us. We must criticize them but in a sugarcoated manner so that they don't discourage themselves rather than they will try to give you better
    stuff .
