I have to say that I also started getting curious about religion when I was their age. I was born Muslim but never knew why, until I started learning it myself, I took all the time I need to figure things out and now I'm so happy and satisfied with my decision, I feel like I reverted again after getting the knowledge I needed.
I hope they take their time to look for it, and I hope they accept it..

Same with me. I grew up in a Muslim family. They did talk about the basics of Islam but they weren’t really practicing the religion. About 2 years ago I wanted to learn more about Islam. And I literally fell in love with it. I couldn’t believe why it took me so long to learn about my religion. And Allhamdulillah my family started learning more about Islam and became to follow Islam better ! It really felt like I reverted🤣.

I am not suitable to answer because I'm born muslim and i have been hearing about Islam all my life but i will try my best advice.
1:Get an english Qur'ān one that is Saheeh International Translated why i chose this one? This particular translation extends upon the verses by explaining events and names that you would know with a simple translation, it made me go wow this was that event i heard explained as a baby years ago you will love it.
2: One of the main reasons i continue to love Islam is the messenger, his ethics, how dealt with people in the most amazing ways.
So also get a "Life time of the prophet" book "السيرة النبوية".
3: Listen to stories online by sheikhs talking about islam and the different stages it went through to become what it is, the stories of all the prophet, perhabs listen to explanation of the Qur'ān series online by a good sheikh.
Anyway that is all i can recommend you at this moment my Allah bless you my guy.

You want to know about Islam go visit Istanbul Turkey. See if the majority of the people care about there religion, there’s bars and clubs almost everywhere. This is a fleshy religion that hates unbelievers. They treat women like crap, I was there 2 weeks ago. I rarely saw a women working. And you’re going enjoy the prayers 5 times a day with loud speakers, it felt like prison. And Islam is not the fastest growing religion, there having multiple wives. Plus volume doesn’t mean it’s right. Once you accept Islam, you can’t get out anymore and that’s there Allah.
These people are just trying to tickle peoples ears with half truths.

And what your saying, Allah Judges them for that, not you or anything else. Also studies have found that Islam is the fastest growing religion and no one is denying that.
@@hamzehhamed7240 the people that I am talking about drinking and partying were Muslim Turks and I had conversations with a lot of them, that’s why I know. I never said there bad people, they were westernized and very far from Islam.
I don’t know about Allah but God judges all these acts unless they repent. I don’t know what data you’re looking at but Islam is not the fastest growing religion if we’re talking about new converts. You guys have multiple kids and wives, of course your number is going to grow faster. Quantity doesn’t give you quality, you’re going to have fake converts and after a while there going to walk away from it like in Turkey.

I loved the fact that while explaining him about the idea of God , he was very comfortable with you. You didn't seem to impose your idea on them. qurans say allah created universe in 6 and 8 days verses (7;65 6 days) 41;9-12 (8 days) qurans are completely incoherent how man was created ; nothing, blood clot, mud, small seed, dust, earth.....quran has 7th century (COPIED by Mo) completely false theory of embryology (23;14 bones are formed first then clothed with flesh), qurans say earth ius flat ( like a bed is given as an example (43;10) the sky can fall on earth (22;65) (also popular 7th century belief (MO blindly copied and LIED saying God gave him this knowledge. look at islam first, and find truth muslims, Jesus is the son of God, and he did die for your sin, mohammed was a liar, the false prophet, a lusty warlord and the antichrist (he testified against Jesus live and his teachings of love)

I think a better argument for ‘seeing is not believing’ for atheists could be a scientific force, like gravity. We dont see gravity but believe in it. I found this one pretty convincing.
