Finally a video on how to wash a house with oxidation and the customer only wants the house washed. I have been looking for a video like this for 2 weeks! Thank you!
Excellent excellent excellent video. I've been in business now for about a year. And I've ran into several homes without sedation and have been very nervous in treating these homes.I am so glad that I came across this video. Thank you for sharing
Yessir! I wash the sunny side first so before I reel it up, I can mist the that side again before I leave. It's easier mist away those runs than coming back. You can't wipe them away after the fact because it'll look terrible by wiping
Really appreciate this Mike! You ever washed a house with an aged cedar roof? Wondering if there are issues with overspray from hitting gutters spotting the cedar shingles?? Maybe a future video if you ever come across this.
I think biggest issue with oxidized houses is the drying. I will tell the homeowner it will look off until it completely drys or with the morning dew. Like you said too especially not letting the bleach dry.
Mr. Deery said you may be mentioning the new word. I guess the AR45 would be too much pressure or maybe it's easier to get the lower concentration of SH for this particular job by down-streaming?
Awesome video ! Doing a soft washing job with oxidation this week and knew I didn’t necessarily have to treat it just use very light pressure from a distance. Just two questions, what tip were you using to apply/rinse, and what mix of sh did you do ? Thanks, great video
I would. But I do not advertise oxidation removal, and do not mention it. Especially on a house this size. Cleansol BC works, but is a bit inconsistent. I don’t want to scrub anything.
Mike please help. I washed a house recently and all they had was well water. I didnt know that until she messaged me today saying when her house dried she had white spots all over her house. I used a regular house wash mix, i washed plenty of homes so far, and never had a issue. What could it be? And how can i get rid of it? Please help.... thank you! I have a 9gpm pump with buffer tank. I downstream it all! Thank you!
@@TheFreshRinse its a custom. I’ll have to look and see what drillbit I always use but I just drill out a 00 tip and I have a few friends that do it now to. We call it the beast rinse it just hammers the lichen.
Use some simple green and a little Dawn blue dish soap-2 tablespoons and SimpleGreen 4 ounces. Make sure you wet it first with white tip and then use black tip to put on soaps then rinse back with white. Lines should disappear few minutes after. Also I forgot leave soap on for about 3-5 minutes. In Hot heat one minute or less.
Why would the oxidation that flakes cause runs???? Just run a surface cleaner at lower psi. 10”-12” surface cleaner works just fine at 1500 psi. f do not need chemicals. 5:48 thst product has the potential of staining if the oxi isn’t completely removed. use a surface clesnet

I agree
Remember the distance when applying the mistance. Your wit and wisdom is truly mystifying, Mike.
LOL You are both easily amused and easily amazed.
@@TheFreshRinse Lol! I just give credit where credit is due!

Great vid! I use the “Mistance” approach on every house wash and it turns out perfect! Thanks for sharing the knowledge!
That’s awesome Tony. Thank you my friend!
Great video! Love the MISTANCE word. You got yourself a new subscriber, Fresh Rinse.
Thank you my friend. I’m truly grateful!

You are 100% correct
Thanks Mike, this is timely. I have an oxidized aluminum to wash on Monday. Youdaman!
I hope it helps!
lol good video mike! Love your new term XD
Thank you good man. JD had nothing to do with it. Just so you know. LOL
You are a really funny dude, I dig the fresh rinse!
Thank you my man! Have a great day Kyle!
Word of the day "Mistance"
The hits just keep coming
Thank you!
Great job mike .
Thank you sir
Mike, your videos get better and better. Looking forward to your "How to Video" video : )
I really appreciate that sir
I heard joe say that also
@@alvinwhitlock4306 yeah… it’s his word. Hence the chuckle.
Really appreciate this Mike!

Thank you my friend. I’m sorry, I have not.
Ha ha, I saw Mr.Derrys video and he said you'd be coming with this soon lol
He’s a clown!

Exactly!
Dude is a pro
Thank you sir
Mr. Deery said you may be mentioning the new word. I guess the AR45 would be too much pressure or maybe it's easier to get the lower concentration of SH for this particular job by down-streaming?
The AR45 would be perfectly fine. In fact, maybe better.

I’m using an M5 Twist
Upsell oxidation removal! Big money and do the customer a good deed by giving them what they need
Mike,
Would you use BC Cleansol if the customer wanted the oxidation removed? Thanks for the lesson professor!!👍👍💥💥💥
I would. But I do not advertise oxidation removal, and do not mention it. Especially on a house this size. Cleansol BC works, but is a bit inconsistent. I don’t want to scrub anything.
That would be such a good song. “From a mistance” you should totally pitch that to Bette Midler!
That would have been hilarious!!!

Hey Timothy. I’m sorry I’m just now seeing this. I would reapply chem and give it a heavy rinse before it dries. Keep me posted.
Mistance .. that’s a new name for my mother in law. I wish she would stay her mistance
Exactly!!!
So you don’t let SH dwell on oxidated vinyl? Do you just apply the SH and rinse right after without letting it dwell?
Pretty much. It may take a few applications
You need to try the beast rinse nozzle
I’ll have to look that one up. Thank you.
@@TheFreshRinse its a custom. I’ll have to look and see what drillbit I always use but I just drill out a 00 tip and I have a few friends that do it now to. We call it the beast rinse it just hammers the lichen.
Nice! Do you know the overall weight of your trailer?
I have no clue. Sorry
I never let the sh dry anytime but what would happen if it would dry on an oxidized house?
If the SH dries, it’s no different than if it dries on windows. It’s terribly difficult to remove.
Hey mike what machine are you using to wash houses. A pressure washer or a 12 volt system
10gpm pressure washer
With a downstream injector?
@@Hamrickshighpressuresolutions Yes sir
What do you do if you’ve already made lines from a little pressure
Use some simple green and a little Dawn blue dish soap-2 tablespoons and SimpleGreen 4 ounces. @kenny Tee left an interesting comment. I’ll use it if necessary.
So say you drooled it all up , then what’s the process to fix ?
You can still try Mistance… but Cleansol BC May be your only option.
first!
What was the expectation you used?
Great video.
Thank you Josh. I’m not sure I understand your question.
I have so many questions, but I'll start with are you removing the oxidation or just washing the house
Great question. I’m absolutely NOT removing oxidation. Just washing.
@@TheFreshRinse also I have a house coming up working in a tight space with extreme oxidation. What is the preferred MISTANCE you would recommend.
@@donnavanblair1651 The idea is to not “flood” the surface, nor put pressure on the surface.
Doesn’t all vinyl basically have oxidation?
That’s true. After a while, it all probably does.
Are you suggesting using a surface cleaner on the vinyl siding?
@@TheFreshRinse what you’ve never used a surface cleaner on the side of a home? or an electric pressure washer that had the 7” surface cleaner ?
@@ashzole Thanks for commenting!
That's "Mistage" as in "Apply a little mistage" 😂🤣😂
Nice!!!
5:15 *baby making voice*
Now I can’t NOT hear it.
The runs are the worst! 😮
what is SH??
Sodium Hypochlorite
What kind of soap do you use
What’s SH
@@dalemcdaniels8865 SH is sodium hypochlorite. Or, bleach. I don’t use a surfactant (soap)
What’s “SH”?
Sodium Hypochlorite.
@@TheFreshRinse thank you, I figured that out lol 😂 I appreciate your response.
@@djb12DeepAcidHouseExperience Absolutely my friend
Mistance = none runs
BOOM!
What is sh?
Sodium Hypochlorite. Or, Chlorine
Sorry but this is somfe BS use 30 sec out door cleaner , cheaper .
Why are you apologizing?
