Great video, Jeff. I think the Chelsea boot is great for air travel since you typically have to remove your shoes. This makes them not only stylish but practical for air travel.

What do you think about the Amsterdam Boot by To Boot New York?
If you want to go bold I'd suggest some grey/black trousers with large checks or glen check. Very on trend for AW18 and look great with polished black chelsea boots. Pair with a black or dark damson colored roll neck sweater.

A quick question in your opinion do you think I should only keep one pair of black cheksea boots? I have 2 pairs of black one is more on the dressier side and the other more rugged looking very nice tho. I noticed you made the black chelsea look both casual and dressier. Maybe that’s a characteristic of the chelsea boot is that it lends itself to both. Maybe I only need one pair? Let me know please.

I am new to this more mature style of casual dressing but I have a light/mid grey blazer that I want to wear that I’ve had for years and only wore once to a occasion. So far I’ve paired it with a purple button down however I’m not sure if I should pair it with a pair of dark blue jeans and either black or brown chelsea boots and if so should it be suede boots or leather?

Jeff, enjoyed the vid. That Henley has nice structure to it and doesn't appear to thin. I've tried PMNYC a few years ago. I was very pleased w/ the quality and length of their garments but I'm a short but bigger guy so arms, thighs, and chest size needs to be 1-2 sizes wider than their current largest offerings. Returns were simple and convenient.
You crushed it w/ the cords and brown suede! 😎Some have said that a thin wale is for a refined look but I disagree. It's a great look as a fall/winter slim jeans alternative. Don't sleep on wide whale cords though. They don't need to be super baggy or pleated, but stay away from skinny/ or too slim and a wale btwn 8-12. Anything below 8 might look too wide. I like to think of them not as a slim jean alternative but more like a chino alternative and more refined than thin wale cords. They are very versatile and always comfy. Depending on the hem and cuff option, they can be styled very nicely w/ pebble grain, reg calf, or suede footwear options in dress, casual Chelsea, heritage boots, chukkas, Bluchers, wing tips, long wings, chunky loafers, slim loafers, Chelsea & sneaker styles. Up top Henley, denim, flannels, ban collars, OCBD's, refined long sleeved polos and any type of sweater. I'm telling you, wide wale cords are very O.G.

Thanks. It's so many websites being advertised on social media and it's hard to determine whether the reviews they post are accurate let alone truthful. I've been finding some nice things on Groupon , Targét , BOOHOOMAN , Zara and others but lately I've been seeing these other on line stores pop up on social media but I just need to know they're legit. I do as much research as possible but I know I may be missing a few. Not to mention some OLshops don't advertise big men like myself not even the models . BOOHOOMAN is great at doing that .
