How many tiles are used in this video when they are playing?
It was roughly 300-350 tiles!
HockeyShot.com wow! Thats a lot! I'm getting only 20
Hey Ali,
We recommend a minimum of at least 200 square feet, which means 90 tiles will give you the room you need to skate around. 200-900 square feet should give you more than enough room to skate up a storm!
HockeyShot.com yea I would love that but it's really expensive
20 tiles is a great start and once you see how much space you have, if you need more you know where to find us at HockeyShot!
Why does this look like a 90's Power Rangers commercial? The special effects, the narrator, it makes so much sense!
is it just me, or does this video make it seem like these tiles have the ability to either save or destroy the world.
Its that or a Five gum commercial
To curious people:
As of writing this, the normal tiles are $15.95 in USD each with a thickness of 7/16". The premium ones are slightly thicker, 7.5/16", and are said to last longer. They are $18.95 in USD each. The tiles are 18" × 18" or 18 squared inches.
Actually that's 324 square inches.
Can you use figure skates as well . And does it dull or damage the blades
What now we can play hockey down here in San Diego
Love it
I have a really dumb question, can you use roller skates on it? I'm looking to make a temporary rink that I can out together and take down easily for roller skating. Would your product work? Thank you
Not Dumb at all! Good Question! We recommend never using inline skates on Synthetic Ice Revolution Tiles
Would be awesome to make a goalie version of these. The 10 pack seems like it wouldn’t be close to usable for T pushes or butterfly slides and having to buy leg sleeves on top of these tiles would kill my bank haha
they are definetly
I just got some for Christmas, they are great! But I want to know how to clean them, as cars parking on them bring some dirt and mud, could you help?
For cleaning, we recommend just using moderate soap and water!
HockeyShot - Hockey Store Thank You!
Does it ever wear out
Do they work on figure skates ?
Can I buy these from Europe as Well?
I got theese and it was very hard to skate on
What does this do for you blades? And can Goalies use this?
They will not damage your blades at all.The 10% friction difference means you will need to sharpen more often than skating on real ice. We also recommend using a lesser pair of skates for the Tiles & saving your best skates for on the ice. Yes, goalies can use HS Synthetic Ice Revolution Tiles, but we recommend goalie pad sleeves for sliding back and forth in the net.
Hmm put all that over inline hockey rink here in Maui 🤔
Will 20 tiles be enough? Wondering if I should convince them to buy me 20 for upcoming Christmas
We recommend 50-100 Tiles for a good skating surface, but it depends on the space you have available to you!
Is it good for hot weather.
Yes, they used them in the pavel barber vs barkov shootout on a Florida beach I believe.
Too f ing expensive
Does stick handling on synthetic ice feel the exact same as stick handling on actual ice?
Yes it does with the HS Extreme Dryland Puck. HS Green Biscuit also very similar. Regular pucks are close, but provide about 10% more friction.
HockeyShot - Hockey Store it feels nothing like ice your shit tiles do not work and there super expensive and suck you are way better of buying a pair of mars blades so you don’t spent 1000 dollars on shit tiles
How many tiles should i buy.(I’m a goalie)
You would want to buy enough so that you could move around and actually practice slides, so we would recommend at least 30 Tiles. Please note you will need to use Leg Pad Sleeves as well if you are a goalie.
When buying it when you add it to the cart as quantity 1 do you just get one tile?
That is correct. Buy as many as you want as it is per Tile & there is no minimum order!
HockeyShot.com 1 box or 1 tile I didn't understand
Yes 1 Tile
HockeyShot.com last time I'll bug you how much Is one box?
We don't sell them by the box, we sell each Tile individually!
You forgot "It will cost you your first born child"
How much money is one tile
www.hockeyshot.com/Revolution-Synthetic-Ice-Tiles-p/flooring-004.htm
how much do i need to practice goaltending?
We would recommend at least 30-50 Tiles for goaltending.
The Gamingle yeah these do nothing for goalies as it seems. You’d need a ton of these to do a single T push or butterfly slide. Plus you have to have leg sleeves to properly slide and Not have the shavings stick to your pads. If only they had a set for goalies I’d be ecstatic but until then I’ve determined the 10 pack is not enough for us haha
@@duckattak no they do that’s wrong I have 42 and they work perfectly for t pushing sliding and taking shots 42 is perfect if you have that amount of money
Hi can u ship this to Thailand?
Hello Thames, please contact our customer support & we would be more then happy to help you with this: customersupport@hockeyshot.com
how much is it cost for a 30 square meter rink?
Hello, please visit our synthetic ice page on our website to request a quote & a synthetic ice representative will get back to you!
Hi I am planning on purchasing synthetic ice from you but I am confused on which one I should order. There is the 7/16 revolution and also one that comes in 4x4 sheets at 3/8 thickness, which is more expensive then the first one mentioned but thinner. Which one would you suggest for 2 kids under 10 and 2 adults both under 180lbs each. It will be used on a daily basis, so I am trying to purchase the one which is more durable and will last hopefully close to 10 years. I appreciate any feedback, thanks in advance.
Hello, please visit our synthetic ice page on our website to request a quote & a synthetic ice representative will get back to you! The Extreme Glide Synthetic Ice Panels have greater longevity (7-10 years & are reversible so another 7-10 years on the other side).
Would I be able to put these down to practice, then pick up when I'm done?
Yes absolutely! This surface is extremely easy to assemble and disassemble whenever you want! Totally up to you!
How much in all did it cost
It's now 15 each
Can you explain the residue it create? I see it being chipped away by the skates. Does this mean it has to be replaced often? And is it toxic?
The Revolution Synthetic Ice Tiles do not release any VOC’s gas.
As for the shaving, it is just like skating on real ice. You create snow while skating on ice and you get the same with shavings on the Synthetic Ice. We always recommend sweeping & vacuuming the shavings after your sessions/after a few hours of use.
@@HockeyShot1 Does it get choppy like real ice as well?
@@sjfrank88 Hey Steve, does not get choppy at all. Just make sure all the seams are flush & the Tiles are snapped it together perfectly. It is a 10% greater friction then real ice & will definitely provide more resistance but is perfect for resistance training & will make your strides even better on real ice!
HockeyShot - Hockey Store has

www.hockeyshot.ca/Revolution-Synthetic-Ice-Tiles-p/revolution-tiles.htm: Tiles are sold individually!

HockeyShot.com oh okay! Thanks!
15 minutes the blade of your skates will go blunt
I wish I could get paid 1 tile for every unanswered question in these comments 😅
I love like the car on, then whispers car on. And all the all stuff like that throughout the vid
Ok just check the home page. $12.99 for a set or for one?

HockeyShot.com thanks but to high for this guy.
Lower your prices on the skatable tils plaes
Hmm! Mitähän Maksaisi€Tuollaiset 40+70meters Syntetic...
lol if you miss a puck you have to take ur skates off to go get it
We thought of that:) www.hockeyshot.com/Puck-Stopper-Edging-HS-Tiles-Allstar-p/flooring-001-puckstopper.htm
@hockeyshop.com what if it goes over
Skate guards
This must dull your blades
They will not damage your blades at all.The 10% friction difference means you will need to sharpen more often than skating on real ice. We also recommend using a lesser pair of skates for the Tiles & saving your best skates for on the ice.
Really pricy. Getting enough to actually skate on (like in the video) can cost upwards of $1000.
Too expensive. I’ll stick with playing Basketball
Can you send me Sam to Try it
This is the most overly American advert i've ever seen
can you send me some because i will do a riveiw on it on my youtube chanle
I can litterly get a McDonalds trio instead of 1 tile lol jk jk jk BETTER HOCKEY IS BETTER THAN HOCKEY SHOT
"Cost effective" lol no
Send me 300 of synthetic ice for a CZcams review
Absolutely not recommended..no grip, damages the skates...please do not use this product..It absolutely does not replicate the feeling of ice. It's like skating on blades that have never been sharpened...
