      Hey Ali,
      We recommend a minimum of at least 200 square feet, which means 90 tiles will give you the room you need to skate around. 200-900 square feet should give you more than enough room to skate up a storm!

    To curious people:
    As of writing this, the normal tiles are $15.95 in USD each with a thickness of 7/16". The premium ones are slightly thicker, 7.5/16", and are said to last longer. They are $18.95 in USD each. The tiles are 18" × 18" or 18 squared inches.

    • @HockeyShot1
      @HockeyShot1  Před 6 lety

      They will not damage your blades at all.The 10% friction difference means you will need to sharpen more often than skating on real ice. We also recommend using a lesser pair of skates for the Tiles & saving your best skates for on the ice. Yes, goalies can use HS Synthetic Ice Revolution Tiles, but we recommend goalie pad sleeves for sliding back and forth in the net.

    • @HockeyShot1

      The Gamingle yeah these do nothing for goalies as it seems. You’d need a ton of these to do a single T push or butterfly slide. Plus you have to have leg sleeves to properly slide and Not have the shavings stick to your pads. If only they had a set for goalies I’d be ecstatic but until then I’ve determined the 10 pack is not enough for us haha

    Hi I am planning on purchasing synthetic ice from you but I am confused on which one I should order. There is the 7/16 revolution and also one that comes in 4x4 sheets at 3/8 thickness, which is more expensive then the first one mentioned but thinner. Which one would you suggest for 2 kids under 10 and 2 adults both under 180lbs each. It will be used on a daily basis, so I am trying to purchase the one which is more durable and will last hopefully close to 10 years. I appreciate any feedback, thanks in advance.

    • @HockeyShot1
      @HockeyShot1  Před 6 lety

      The Revolution Synthetic Ice Tiles do not release any VOC’s gas.
      As for the shaving, it is just like skating on real ice. You create snow while skating on ice and you get the same with shavings on the Synthetic Ice. We always recommend sweeping & vacuuming the shavings after your sessions/after a few hours of use.

      @@sjfrank88 Hey Steve, does not get choppy at all. Just make sure all the seams are flush & the Tiles are snapped it together perfectly. It is a 10% greater friction then real ice & will definitely provide more resistance but is perfect for resistance training & will make your strides even better on real ice!
