- Today, I'm taking a look at the CCS Summer Showdown, a 142-player 10K cEDH tournament. I go over the meta breakdown, talk about the Rograkh/Thrasios decklist I played at the event, the absolute shenanigans that went down in top 16, and breakdown all the top 16 decklists from the event with a focus on the new MH3 cards. The decks featured are Omnath, Najeela, Malcolm/Vial, Kenrith, Esika, Godo, Yisan, Thras/Vial, Tayam, Krark/Sakashima, Tymna/Kraum, Dargo/Thras, and Tivit

I brewed Nadu as soon as it was spoiled and now it's the big thing to have. I'll still be getting reps with Malcolm Kediss, but will be trying Nadu to add some spice

I would love for you to make a RogThras video. I'm working on a deck rn and from what you said there are a lot of similarities in our decks but I'd love to here you go deep down the "Rogerhole"
Was such a cool experience meeting you and playing in my first tournament! That deck was such a fun deck to play again and enjoyed trying to stop it!

Personally, I love tournament reports and hearing about your experience! Would love a Rog/Thras video as well.
From the Patron deck I'd pull the Dark Confidant for Professional Facebreaker. More artifact synergy, you can sac treasures to exile cards which synergizes with Crime guy for convoke, plus its saccable to red flare
I'm actually the guy who ran the Thras Vial deck! If you want you can go look at the updated deck I did change some things but going into that tournament I didn't own the lions eye diamond so I didn't run the combo. I've never proxied decks and didn't plan to start now. It was a ton of fun and definitely earned my place at that tournament
I would greatly appreciate a video breakdown of Thrasios/Rograkh (my deck of choice). Especially interested in breaking down MH3 options (good and bad) while comparing to older lists.

Always interested in deck techs dude, they're a great way to get info around synergies and discrete nuances that you just cant get from a breakdown or a simple list.

Btw, colonel autumn has exploit itself so it can triggers its own ability, so it can reset itself without a sac outlet, the typical combo i see here, is autumn, cradle (6 creatures need for this loop) a land sac outlet and tayam, this gets use infinite counters and infinite activations of tayam👍
I may have missed where you said this, but in Tayam, you can use your commander to remove the Finality counter from the creature you reanimate with Emperor of Bones

Too little sleep is honestly a big thing. I played a tournament where I was super tired and missed three Rhystic triggers in the semi finals, lol.

Finality counter only exiles if the creature dies, not meaning to nitpick, but it might increase the types of loops you can do with that mh3 skeleton
Stating facts is not an excuse for the record. Identification and ownership of error are both important to self growth.
I expected this See SIX in tyamn, i think that kind of value engine is great in such a staxy deck
Might be that some of them end up running it but just didn't this time, not really sure! they have so many options now.
@@LemorasCards true, the amount of good cards for tyamn really skyrocketed in the last year or so

Woodland is sick cuz you can storm a bit, brain freeze yourself and then maybe dump a breach in yard, then go from there!!
are there any good aggro decks that dont run out of steam?
From my small sample size, Shifting Woodland is much too good to have for the times when you truly need it to worry about its opportunity costs.
Edit: As an observer of its use. Haven't used it myself yet.
Yeah that's kinda my assessment of it. Mostly a free include.
Yeah, Woodland, Drake, Necodominance are all pretty much new staples
@damo9961 I'm honestly still shocked that people were so down on Necrodominance. It's genuinely good. I think maybe they aren't looking at it like an Ad Nauseam. Or maybe they haven't figured out they need to play around Bowmasters? I don't know.

topdeck.gg is the best source, for events that aren't on there you'll have to snoop around for local discords/facebooks but most events at this point use their software
