  • Chris Warren from Wesco addressing the Rose Anvil review.
This video was taken from the Wesco Facebook group which was later shut down.
It is well known that the Rose Anvil channel charges approximately $20,000 per video.
Some believe brands that won't pay to have a video made suffer negative reviews.
There is no proof of this other than what we see on this channel.

Having had Wescos, Nicks, Whites and other PNW boots I will say the The Wescos are equally bombproof to the others. I have really appreciated the custom fit from Wesco I just wish the wait was shorter...currently have my 7th pair of Wesco on order as well as 4th pair of Nicks. You really can't go wrong and I appreciate the the information from a long time employee. Thanks!

Thanks for being so level headed when your product was misrepresented. This is how companies should address such issues.

I have seen the video you are responding to. I love your transparency. Currently have a pair of green shop Vancouver engineers on wait. When those come in i will look into some morrisons. I did a custom build sheet.

It's a shame that you got some bad comments because I watched the rose anvil video and I never got the impression that Wesco was making substandard boots. I actually pretty interested in buying a pair of your boots because of the video. The nail didn't concern me to much as I have had that issue before and the company i bought them from corrected the issue quickly. Customer service is key and if you provide me with the best service you can give I will be happy. Some people will just trash companies because it gives them a feeling of superiority.

The thumbnail photo you see is me working for HCI Technologies, better known as Hood Communications. Photo taken in 1988 (we were contracting for New England Bell). The Wesco Highliners I'm wearing were purchased in 1985. Yesterday, I ordered a new pair of "RW9716100" boots (Wesco Highliner 16 Inch Redwood Vibram 100 Lug Sole) from "Stompers Boots". This will be my third pair of Wesco lineman boots in 45 years. I just watched a Wesco factory tour video. The Highliner is made better today than it was when I bought my first pair, in the late 1970's. Rose Anvil is full of shit and probably has never climbed a day in his life.

I’ve worn Wesco boots Since 1982, Job Master regular toe in black, had one pair resoled probably 5-6 times. Working in the timber industry. Been a commercial HVAC tech since 1993. Have a 75th anniversary lace to toe in redwood that are almost brand new, tried to wear them for first time in 25 years, think my feet have gotten bigger. Just about to buy another pair of black regular toe job masters in black

5 months and no comments? I'm east of Portland, and know a bunch of people with Wescos doing heavy work. I've never heard anyone say anything bad about them - including price. "You get what you pay for."

Wesco caulk boots have been a favorite here in WA for a reason, just bought another pair today.

I look at rose anvil for entertainment simply because it’s cool to see boots cut in half, I’ve had some Wesco highliners and job masters and I loved them. The only reason I haven’t ordered another pair recently is due to the lead times. I understand that handmade boots take time and Wesco will always have a place in my heart.

I've been wearing my wesco jobmasters for almost ten years now, and they're still holding up great. Most other boots get trashed in 1-2 years at my work. You guys make a solid product with great service.
I noticed in the rose anvil review that he was talking a lot about work boots and how these hold up compared to other PNW work boots... but didn't actually review one of wesco's work boots! It's apples to oranges comparing a work-styled fashion boot to something built specifically for rough work.

Rose anvil has given random internet folks a lot of false confidence
