    Is one of your creditors trying to collect a debt discharged in bankruptcy?
    It's hard enough to get through a bankruptcy case, finally get that discharge, and the clean slate you earned. When a creditor ignores that clean slate and continues to contact you to collect a debt that was discharged, you can suffer even more stress and anxiety than you're already under.
    The good news is that there are legal procedures to get things back on track.
    If your situation meets the following requirements:
    1.) The creditor contacting you must be a legitimate company;
    2.) The creditor must have gotten notice of your bankruptcy case; and
    3.) The creditor must be contacting you to collect a debt after that point.
    Then you may have a claim to force them to stop contacting you and pay damages to cover your losses.
    Best yet, for qualifying claims, there are no upfront fees or costs to have our firm represent you in asserting your rights. The law says that companies pay your legal fees and costs when they violate your rights!
