This is my first time watching you. I missed the poll, but here are my choices with lots of qualifiers. 😂 1) fudge it if at all possible. I’ve been known to just stitch over a stitch or two with the correct color rather than frog it. 2) two handed if using a hoop or frame on a stand. 3) digital all the way! I have a few projects that I didn’t scan the patterns for. When I’m stitching on them, I find myself trying to pinch out to enlarge it! 🤣🤪 4) Not full coverage 5) Good lighting with a magnifier!! 6) Hoop when I have to 7) in hand all the way! 8) if money were no consideration, hand-dyed but in reality, DMC 😄 9) an hour on 1.25 to 1.5 speed. I’m always amazed by those who can do a 30-minute (or less!!) video! I mean, sometimes my intro is 10 minutes alone. 🙃 10) fabric, mostly because of the count or type. I’ve started hand dyeing my own fabrics so that’s another reason to substitute. 💜🌸💜
OMG SO FUN! (Sorry I'm late to the game haha) 1. Frog it for sure. I agree - would be such a headache and would bother me later! 2. One-handed, but I want to keep trying to find a way to be faster. I actually bought a Lowery stand and I need to try to use it again because then I think I could do two-handed. 3. Digital if possible 4. Not full coverage. I say that even though I really want to start a HAED haha 5. This one is tough! I love being comfy, but I would also say good lighting 6. Q-snap! 7. Hoop/Q-snap. I have tried stitching in hand and I'm not sure if I'm doing it right or something but it kind of hurts my wrists. 8. Also a tough one! I think I prefer hand-dyed because I love the effect, but of course DMC is such a staple and better for the budget. 9. 1 hour because I feel like people talk about their lives and tell stories and stuff and it adds to the community aspect of it! 10. Switch out called for fabric - the reasons you talked about are exactly my reasons!
Love it!! For number 2: I find the hardest part is that we stitch for the meditative repetitiveness and it doesn’t feel good at first to switch methods! Just try to push through the discomfort for a while!
Thoroughly enjoyed!
What a great idea! I would be curious to see the age range of those who prefer a digital copy over a printed chart.
This was so interesting! The paper vs digital patterns really surprised me. Thank you so much for your kind words about my videos!
You’re very welcome 🥰

This was great, such a fun idea!
I agreed with most of the poll winners, but I stitch in hand too :)
So much faster!
