Almost all your criticisms / additional IOs etc have been addressed in the FX200b model. What a great multi FX for the price and a built in battery.
I really like the cleans. It’s pretty impressive to be able to get killer sounds from something so budget friendly.
I’d love to see a Part 2 of you running pedals in front to hear how well it actually handles that. Great vid as always though!
I like it think I’m try one… great backup rig!
Enjoy your channel thanks for sharing
Very nice review.
Great review Steve. I had recently looked at the Flamma multi-effects unit and that rechargeable battery is super nice. I didn’t order it but instead went with the Valeton GP-200 multi-effect processor, which I think is more geared to live performances. There are a few different versions of the GP-200 but I went with the more expensive model and got it off Amazon for $315. If possible I would love to see/hear your review on the Valeton GP-200. Cheers, keep up the good work and great videos!
I have been looking at that for the XLR's and switches! How are you liking it?
@@nicktshredz So far I’m loving it. I also have the Headrush MX5, which I like too and think it sounds a smidge better than the GP-200, but the GP-200 with all its foot switches makes it very easy to navigate between banks, patches and with the ability to add on a dual foot switch, it makes it very easy to enable or disable three effects per patch. Also the looper and tuner is super easy to access via the foot switches. I also purchased some patches for the GP-200 from ChopTones and they sound great.
hi Steve, how is it as a virtual capo?
You’re the man Steve, the man
No you!
Steve..............Jess commented on your video!!! You are big time now!!! I checked; it's the REAL Jessica Lynn account as well.
Great review. I have wanted something other than LIne 6 for "my travel rig when I stay in SPFD" just for fun and to try something new. And the rechargeable feature would be a HUGE bonus.
Excellent review. Love all the points you made. And you are correct........it sounds great..........no need for IRs. And it has a desktop editor unlike the Nutless Neural Thing.
Cool review
HOW COOL IS THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The real live Jessica Lynn commented on this video!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Steve, my GX-100 from Boss has a touchscreen and an editor. I'm running it with some drives and a ToneX in the effectloop and a BigSky after the GX-100. It's a pretty powerful package this way :). Great review by the way!
Thanks William! Sounds like a great rig. I haven't tried much of the boss stuff
At $300 price point, tne nux mg30 is a competition for sure
If my only use case is playing and recording at home, i wonder if this is a very god alternative. price is on point :)
Just ordered the non battery one for a discount on Amazon, can’t beat it for 200 dollars!
@DavidEidelberg remarked that the battery is an extra $69. That makes this a considerably more expensive unit. Not bad considering its capabilities, though. Did you mess at all with making your own presets, and can they be re-ordered easily to taste, e.g. like you said - Intro/Verse/Chorus? And desktop editing is crucial, I would never buy a unit without it, no matter how easily it can be done on the unit. That comes in handy for on-site adjustments, but just not how I'm comfortable working bending over every couple of seconds to adjust something.
It's easy to make the presets for sure. Getting used to the controllers was interesting for sure. Desktop editor is definitely cool and gets the job done well. Its very similar to pod go workflow wise
Seems to have a lot in common with some Hotone products. Ampero Stomp etc
I havent tried one but was really impressed with this guy
@@SteveSterlacci it's a great sounding unit
Just saw you plsying in a band on You Tube. Sounded really good.
you're still looking for the perfect sound? did you try knew fingers? :)
$299 gets you the model with no battery. $369 if you want the battery. Pretty expensive battery….
Yeah, really not THAT expensive for this type of battery, but it makes the unit a lot more expensive than it sounds at first.
