Fasten your seatbelt! This adapter rotates 9:16 pictures into 16:9 OPTICALLY!
Inventor Ulrich Mors (www.morsmedia.de Germany) patented the adapter and cooperated with the renowned company Chrosziel GmbH to develop two versions for the market.
The adapter will be presented to public from now on and will be shown live by Chrosziel at NAB Las Vegas, mid April.
How does it work?
The adapter contains two mirrors with micro-mirrors known from DLP beamers. But these micro-mirrors are translucent and shift the phase of the light, so it can pass the adapter after reflecting two times in the mirror.
Each micro-mirror repositions the light beam by ONE pixel - resulting in a rotated image.
"9:16 is the future!" - on budget (EF to E-mount) or for high end use (PL to E-Mount)!

Ich glaube eher nicht an 9:16 Future. Die Augen beim Menschen müssten dann ja auch mal übereinander und nicht mehr nebeneinander wachsen 😁
