  • Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford sparked real change at the highest level by forcing the government U-turn on free school meals over the summer. The England striker, 22, has been praised for his efforts in convincing the Government to provide £15-a-week meal vouchers for poor kids in the UK during the summer holidays. After increased pressure from Tory MPs and a social media avalanche, Mr Johnson scrapped his previous decision to end the scheme. Meanwhile, as the premier league returns today, Rashford last week admitted he "could have done much more" for Manchester United in 2019-20, and that he will "have to come back better" when the new season kicks off.
