I've listened to this version HUNDREDS of times and I can't get over those drums. They're so dang good. I wish I had even a little bit as much groove as Tamir has!
Yeah, both drummer & bass players are standout monsters, but are so woven together, and in the pocket as a rhythm section. The sound guys are so dialed in, as well. Her voice is so powerful that they don’t have to lay back as much in the mix, so we get these phenomenal recordings.
