Making of "Vocalist" character for Guitar Hero III - Legends of Rock.
Capture Motion and Interview with Bret Michaels.
What really confused me as a kid was how they didn’t put it in the wii, but they still included this video, so I was like “who is the guy and how do I unlock”. He was on the Xbox360 version.
Same thing I had on the PS2 version
I had the wii version and this interview was in the extras
he also did all the motion capture for the standard singer too. They added him in the game as a bonus.
I loved playing GH3 and Brett Michaels song “go that far” is one my best favorite songs to play that I play it over and over and over.

This is the making for the vocalist character.
for all those asking or windering he is the lead singer in the band poison, not motley crue (vince neil), not guns and roses (axl rose) he shows up when you play a poison song and there is a cheat to gave him for every one.
I'm surprised from the amount of unused animations
And it's also weird how they kept a Poison cover when they actually got Bret Michaels in for a bonus song and mocap
OMIGOD! I LOVE this! It's awesome! I had no idea they put him in a mocap suit! I'm not surprised he said he sucks at the game - Rock Band and Guitar Hero are not like playing guitar in reality, but they sure are FUN!! Thanks for posting!

It's just amazing how alive he makes Guitar hero 3. The animation and moves done by a professional rockstar puts all other "vocalist" animations to shame.

Well in older chart conversion gh3 to clone Hero in some of the song there's drum on there i don't know if that's scrapped idea or something

In career mode, if you play Talk Dirty to Me, he appears.
In the cheats menu, if you enter GR GR GR GB GB GB RB R R R RB R R R RB R R R, you can force him to appear on all songs

Are you playing the Wii or PS2 version of GH3. Because Bret is only on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game.
I always wondered why he was on the extras on the wii but playing talk dirty to me by poison made sense after finding out who he is

Not just a cheat, but the singer becomes Bret if you play "Talk Dirty to Me" or "Go That Far", an original song he provided. It's available from the store.
Unless you're on the PS2 or Wii versions of the game, he's completely absent from the game. But this video is still in those versions.

@cwazyfrog More than you'd expect. The graphics aren't important, the gameplay is. Wii has plenty of good games such as Mario (imo the best) I'm glad Nintendo is more focused on gameplay than up-to date graphics.. I mean really, do you play games to look at them? or to play and have fun with the story?

I don't think it was necessary to have a singer in Guitar Hero, World Tour I understand but I don't get this.
yeah hes hiding a five head, lol. But he got some good moves regardless. We copied his dance moves well some of them and tried 'em in the clubs, chicks were diggin' it, they were like where did you learn to dance like that ....well yno its a natural thang, wtg bret.

Mark Niebrzydowski he appears in the songs, "talk dirty to me" and "go that far" . To have him sing in every song there is a cheat for it than you can input under the options menu
