The reason why the NCAA said they will pay every player $500 flat rate to be in the game is because no matter how famous these players might be or how much they are worth IRL, there is no way to portray that realistically in a game. None of the outside shit matters. The NCAA is paying the players simply so that they can put the real players name on the back of a jersey instead of fake names like before.Not only that, but if they demanded “royalties” as you hinted they should do, then there would be never ending negotiations between EA and players. These are college student athletes. That means they graduate at maximum after 4-5 years. Every year the sport loses guys, and gains guys. Its not like professional sports where the guys are there to stay for an entire career in the big leagues. This entire video is poor man.
EA should just issue generic players and let people mod that. We could have had a college football game years ago

That’s what they said they would do they have gotten the game mostly done but this was the last thing they wanna do they said they are going to release the game no matter what but it would be cool to have a realistic experience not just player number 13
Yeah that was brought up. They wanted EA to take custom rosters out of the game so no one could use someone’s name and likeness. I wouldn’t mind not having them in the game at all, I care about the schools, traditions, and environments more than a name on a Jersey!
The restraining order was denied 😂😂😂 it’s a moot anyways. The actual players are like icing on the cake. EA has stated they will release the game with them or not. I’m a dynasty guy like most are, could give a damn about the real players as they will be gone early into my dynasty anyways 😂
NCAA 06 was my favorite college game ever I played all 50 seasons of Dynasty mode in that game took me almost 2 years, and won 45 natty's with 42 Hesiman winners. I imported them all to Madden after I finished those were good memories.

I wonder why they couldnt just release a complete game MINUS even ONE player on ANY roster. You buy the game, get to the home screen and before you can play a game you have to go to the roster page where you will be prompted with "If you wish to continue playing, you must first "AUTO-GENERATE ALL TEAMS ROSTERS". Then we are off to 2024 and the first off season in a 20 year OREGON DUCK FOOTBALL Dynasty! Maybe some time down the road they would get the money game sorted out at which time we could all download the real roster and everyone is happy!
Yeah paying top players more is stupid all we need is authentic teams uniforms and stadiums and the ability to create rosters
EA sports alway said they would use generic names if need be… only way the game not releasing is if the universities start pulling from the game . Just like in 2013 !

This did not age well the lawsuit was settled, and the game supposed to come out on time with most players opting in.
EA Sports should just make an in depth, choice based, college football game solely for career mode and forget about the NIL drama ("Road to Glory" on steroids).
IT SHOULD INCLUDE:
• Different narratives specific to player positions that evolve each season spanning over 3-4 seasons.
• Weekly academic quizzes that earn mental attributes (awareness, vision etc), mental specialty badges (play recognition etc.) and maintain your scholarship.
• Teammate and opponent rivalries with intense cut scenes that spark practice / in game challenges which help earn or lose favor with coaches; determining your position on the depth chart.
• A weekly choice between speed, strength, agility or rehab exercises that maintain / improve base physical attributes depending on performance.
• Social activities (attending parties, social media post, and interviews) that can boost or decrease popularity; which can gain or lose endorsements
• Daily diet choices that affect player performance ( players may need to gain or lose weight for peak effectiveness ).
• Late game, slow motion, clutch scenarios for players in the Heisman race that get harder each week (Hail Mary ftw, spectacular catch ftw, goalline forced fumble ftw, end zone int ftw, picks 6 ftw, block field goal ftw, kick return ftw etc).
Though it won't deliver the whole college football gaming experience we're used to it will be immersive and in depth. I believe that by doing this EA will revive the majority of it's college football fanbase.

The players are fine with the money it was the schools trying to get more money out of ea but it’s fine now

Everyone forgets, this ISN’T an NCAA game. So the NCAA has no creative control. I see people saying “They don’t want EA to put in roster creator so there is no image and name likeness problems”. There is no “They”. EA had to go through every school and conference and negotiate with them for their licensing rights. This Tyler guy has called this game “NCAA” multiple times in this video. This IS NOT AN NCAA GAME. Stop trying to spread misinformation for views. I’m sorry I watched this video and contributed to that.

EA literally just said the game is on schedule to release next year. The only worry is is it gonna be as bad as madden or like old NCAA Football. Similar to madden but alot more fun.
