Welcome to the fandom! I personally do both, especially now since people tend to post manga leaks/spoilers and sometimes without a proper warning. So anime only folks would have a hard time trying to avoid spoilers 🥲
The manga would get you caught up faster with the story, but if you aren’t actively following any anime accounts on social media and prefer to see the beauty of the colors, sound and overall experience then I’ll say watch the anime 🩵
