Very few bands, particularly in concert, keep playing in standard tuning (also Iron Maiden still do this).

Drummer Ken Mary was sit out the band's European tour "due to unforeseen circumstances." For this concert he was replaced by Marco Prij from the Dutch thrash metal act Cryptosis. INCREDIBLE DRUMMER @MarcoPrij

Flotz & Overkill - my two favorite thrash metal acts ever! Consistency, quality and - most of all - great music. Awesome live performance by Flotz - so tight!
I've been blown away by Flotz ever since Doomsday was released way back in the day, and it destroyed my brain. Through all the decades that have passed since then you continue to devastate my senses with every album (especially everything since and including The Cold). Killer set list at Hellfest delivered with power and fury. You guys just keep getting better as the years go by.
Flotsam and Jetsam are headlining Day #1 Thursday September 28th, 2023 at Blades of Steel Metal Festival in Madison , WI !!!!

Saw these guys in 1993 in Santa Barbara at a tiny club called the Anaconda. One of the best shows I have ever seen, met the band and spent quite a bit of time talking to Eric AK. Such a solid, nice guy. This video confirms they are one of the best and most underrated thrash bands of all time - as the only difference between the show I saw and this one is their age!

That was brilliant! Just like Blaze Bayley, Eric's voice gets even better with age.
Eric is an S tier top of the line 99 percentile singer, while Blaze is way below average.

But i am coming from a place of objective rationalization. Blaze has always and still was a mediocre singer. In the sea of supertalented singers, he just pales in comparison. He was WAY inconsistent live, even in his youth. (but who's to blame him, he had big shoes to fill. PS. Im not a huge Dickison fan btw, but Bruce is an amazing singer and he was always a super consistent live perfomer, even with extensive touring, and he still does pretty good in his 60's).
Not trying to sound egoistical, but even a random internet dude that sings (me) , and i also consider myself mediocre, and many others like myself can outsing Blaze Bailey. Those are pure facts. I dont know what miracle got him into Iron Maiden. But if he wasnt in the band, nobody would ever hear about him. Nothing personal against the dude, he seems like a nice guy, but im just talking about pure singing...

Hometown favorites. They are never overplayed. I'm glad Eric A.K. took front stage back, his fill in singer I seen in Vegas wasn't bad but it wasn't Eric. Awesome job guys. Still you are on my top of the list Heavy Metal bands of all time.

Clueless, these guys have toured a ton. Even though they barely make enough to fund the tours they do it for the love of the music. I go every Tim they are within a hundred miles or even more at times to do what I can to let them know they are the best thrash band ever. Megadeth is a very close second. Lol.

La primera vez que los vi en vivo fue en el 2019 creo recordar, es decir espere mas de 30 años para verlos in LIVE, no puedo describir que fue para mi escuchar a estos tipos, mi mujer casi se desmayo por un mal movimiento cervical ahi lo dejo, y yo solo recuerdo llorar con Hammerhead, lo demas fue todo un pogo. Una de las bandas mas infravaloradas del TRASH.

Seen these guys open for king diamond in Orlando Florida in 1989, didn't know who they were until that night but they blew me away and definitely blew king off the stage. I walked out during king diamonds set and hung out with these guys in the parking lot. The singer of savatage was there and rick rozz from death were all hanging out in the parking lot with the flots

I have loved this band since day one.. I was fortunate to see them live many many times growing up in L. A. These guys are the most underrated face melters absolutely ballistic .... O. G. 's !!..heartbreaking that they don't have more success ..Eric is one of the baddest metal front men to ever take the stage ..please don't stop shredding guys!!! 🎉
