Joey voice has literally gotten stronger over time..amazing
Joey's voice aging like fine wine
Not sure what is more badass? The Vocals? The Bass? The Rhythm Guitar? The shreading acoustic guitar? The entire song gives me goosebumps......Unbelievable talent!
my favorite song of this album
His voice sounds better right now than any point in his career. Wow.
This world has moved on!!! My god this is just fricking awesome!!!
From all The Big 4 members I think Anthrax are the one that always have kept their shit rocking on*
kevin salazar Here here!
The line "this world has moved on" is from Stephen King's "Dark Tower" series which is also the inspiration for this song.
@Mr. Mopar Megadeth is good, but witch lineup of them do you mean?
Joey Belladonna still has pipes after all these years!
Richer, stronger and better actually
Those aren't pipes. Geoff Tate had pipes for days. I will agree, though, his voice hasn't degraded badly. But, he knows his range and what he can and can't do, and he won't pull shit in the studio that he can't reproduce live. He's smart.
Great range, very strong vocals.
He Sounds better than Tate Does now....plus Anthrax smokes Queensryche any day
You can totally tell that Joey really works at keeping himself in shape. That’s not the easiest vocal style to pull off.
Between Iron Maiden’s Book of Souls album and this exact CZcams video, I psyched myself up to start seriously practicing singing in 2016. Now, going on 4 years later, I’m in my college choir and practicing opera music. The big step would be getting my own band started. :)
Jesus Christ...Joey B....those pipes brother...still blowing after all these years...LOVE ANTHRAX LOVE THIS TUNE...
This is so good! One of my favourite songs I discovered recently. What a voice !
Man, this came up in my feed after I just saw Rick Beato covering his opinion on the latest top ten global songs. This blows all 10 of the “top” out of the water by a long shot. So much talent in that room!
GODAM JOEY, you fucking Rock!
I've always passed on this band because I thought Joey Belladonna was the weakest singer of the big 4. How is it, 3 decades laster he has become better than any of them????
I guess you'll have to revisit the older stuff. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
An acoustic version of Breathing Lightning would be the perfect theme for the upcoming Dark Tower tv show, imo.
Anthrax unplugged. Freakin' killer. Joey is unparalleled.
I hate acoustic versions of metal songs, but damn anthrax wrote a perfect song with this, when I put the CD in my stereo it instantly became one of my all time favourite metal songs of all time, and it's actually pretty damn good even unplugged.
They still create songs that make you feel emotional. Great version. Please guys, come back to Colombia any time.
Joey and Frank kicking ass with their vocals.
What other band has their drummer just pick up a guitar and play
He actually writes all of their music while Scott Ian writes the lyrics.
Charlie is The Best
Nirvana. And he actually started this whole other band.
Scott Marsden z
Nirvana 25 years ago...and SOD 25 years ago (Charlie)
Incredible vocals from Joey.
Belladonna is god. Listen to that beautiful voice.
talk about digressing
lol
Joey always had a fantastic voice and it's amazing here his voice has just aged amazingly well and so much better than the rest of the big four singers
Unbelievable song, one of my all time favorite Anthrax’s songs
Amazing
They’re was Antrax, then a hiatus and then Antrax again. So much missed while you were gone Joey. Thank you for making this Anthrax again.
Best acoustic version ever
great to see these guys still rocking! love it. been listening to you since your waaf days you rule Opie!
Absolutely brilliant
Man, I love this song! Thank you Anthrax!❤
That was just fantastic! Best track on the album!
And I may also say thay this song has a certain power. Overwhelming.
I'd have given two of my three nuts to have been in that studio! OMFG how incredible!
They are the best!
Very Difficult to play the same solo in the acoustic - well done Jon
I would have skip it lol improvised or something .
First time I saw Charlie play guitar was on the 1988 State of Euphoria tour. He played it while Joey played the drums on "I'm The Man". That was 30 years ago so Im not surprised one bit how proficient he is playing it.
wtf? anthrax is like reaching the nirvana, the gods palace with this amazing track and accoustic sounds so fucking good
Love it
...like a fine wine...it gets better with age!!.....sounds f'n great!!!
My defo favs from Big 4. Old school rulezz
sounded great!
With all do respect to Scott, Charlie, Frank and the new guy. Joey, you’re The Sauce.
Killed it!!!!!!!!
111 yeah AWESOME 😉😎🤘
Great acoustic sound of Anthrax...!!
Awesome....
Awesome!
nailed it!!!!!!
it's funny to read the comments on this video versus the comments on the Comfortable Numb cover, which is from the same session.
That's because they rule at doing their OWN material.
"Fuck Yeah". That's what they said and how they ended it. And I agree! Fuck Yeah!
AWESOMENESS!!!!!
Excellent !!!
Joey sound great
awesome
This is great!
Belladonna was born to sing for Antrax. John Bush is a great vocalist and always will be. Anthrax without Joey is like Ozzy singing for Elvis
❤❤❤
Omg its so good...
Magnificent 🤘🤘🤘
Long days and pleasant nights.
That new album of theirs is fuckin awesome
Joey sounds great!!!!
Jesus Joey sounds fucking perfect
This is mighty
Anthrax........wowwwww
Sounds Great! guy's! #Anthrax #ForAllKings
Got damn anthrax is bad ass!!;
This is a asmr moment
Roland of Gilead would approve
SOOOO Much better than the "Comfortably Numb" rendition!
Frank Bello, Charlie Benante, Joe Beladonna and Ian are not from this world. PERIOD!!!
Total Anthrax
1000 times better than the comfortably numb cover. This sounded great.
Charlie nice guitarplayer)
Kenny back there ready to kill in an instant.
"For All The Kings"...
Quality.
Long time Opie hope you're good.
keeping the beat with the left leg
Never knew Benante played Guitar
He writes the majority of their riffs
Am I the only one that thinks the acoustic version of this song sounds better than the original?
Club Soda Kenny in the back. lol
Check out Kenny lurking in the background.
Guy on right is doing counter I think by himself
Anthrax rules🤘🏽...still on top of their game..just wondering why they never tried reuniting with Danny Spitz..🤔
is it just me or is Jerry Springer in the background behind Scott Frankie Charlie at 1:09 ?
Miss Danny Spitz on lead.
John is doing a great job. Much better than Caggiano
Donais rules
@@pit19931 oh puhleeez...Donais slaughters the solos on Be All End All, Madhouse, Time, In My World. He's been in the band for 8 years now and he still can't recreate those solos on stage. Spitz is THE man.
Man I hated Anthrax when I was younger. But they've actually gotten better with age
Can anyone explain the chords scott ian is playing ?
For all kings*
Rehash Rehash Rehash Rehash!!!
I'm trying to figure out Ians part
Bad ass :)
How does Joey keep lookin' so youthful!?
Von Faahquard idk man he pretty much looks exactly the same and he's 56 going on 57 this year 😂😂😂 it's the injun blood mang 😂😂😂.
Anthony Avila lol. yeah that's it. I was Fortunate enough to shake his and Scott's hand this September. Joey was a true gent. Scott seemed a bit scared though. Lol
Anthrax on Xanax
I don't get why they only release short video clips when literally every other show at Sirius has a visual element, even Sam Roberts who just started! are they trying to save money?
Wasn't that Maury Povich in the background?
Didnt know Charlie played the guitar.
he's the main riff writer
dude looks like chuck lidell lol
Why Scott gets all the glory?? Charlie is the main song writer and Joey is the best Metal voice
My only question is why Chris Hansen is hanging out by the door?
