Four years ago I listened to Tous les mêmes for the first time, now I'm a french teacher and we are watching this with my students. I'm forever grateful.
I absolutely adore this guy. He's such an amazing artist and we really need that kind of people nowadays, when most of the "music" today is a trash. À mes yeux, en prenant tout le recul dont je suis capable sur le monde musical que je connais et qui est assez vaste en terme de genre et d'artistes, il fait partie de ceux qui ont l'univers le plus riche, une esthétique parfaitement soignée (on aime ou on aime pas évidemment tout est subjectif), un sens de la musique hors normes et une inspiration folle... J'adore... Je suis déçu qu'il ai disparu comme ça... Son oeuvre mérite tellement d'applaudissements
You'd think he'd be recognized and followed by crazy fans, but no. It's simple interactions, quirky banter, and some kind of magnetic awkwardness that on a genius level. Hard to describe.
This guy seems like such a freaking genius. I mean it. My french is absolutely horrible, but his songs are amazing and the subtitles definitely help a lot for my personal understanding.
