Town of Salem is a social deduction game similar to Among us and Goose Goose Duck. Among Us/Goose Goose Duck allows you to play the game with up to 4-15 players, Town of Salem allows up to 15 players in a single game.
Like Among Us/Goose Goose Duck, you can be good or evil with factions such as Town, Mafia and Neutrals. Among/Goose Goose Duck us has 2 roles (without mods), town of salem has 33 different characters in the base game. Town of Salem is a great alternative to Among Us/Goose Goose duck if you're looking for another game in the social deduction genre. If you enjoy Among Us/Goose Goose Duck, definitely give Town of Salem a try
The problem with BG is that unless you have a TP on you, the only way you confirm yourself is to die. And until then, you get the same results as two of the strongest roles in the game. So people get suspicious of BodyGuards after a day or two without the bg dying.
I feel like bg should have basic defense for one time its attacked like witch, or like.. idk. SOME way to prove yourself without dying
@@gayrobloxgirl I agree, I feel like they should only lose the ability to protect after a successful protect instead of dying, or only die after the second protect, unless the attack was powerful maybe.
Edit: it would also create a new claimspace. BGs will be able to continue playing the game after getting a kill, but will only confirm the existence of a BG after getting a kill instead of being hard confirmed and dead, making Bg claims less sus overall but thereby potentially allowing evils to swoop in and say "I cc BG, I was on mayor/jailor that night." New exe play? Could be interesting.
Yeah, the whole idea of Bodyguard is extremely flawed, and the fact that the only way to confirm that you exist by dying is absolutely backwards.

The most broken Consig I've seen happen was it was 4 maf game with 3 consigs. and we particularly found every role by n3 lol. It was magical. Because of that we all 3 claimed invest and controlled the town saying. Nah that fake or cap and got the ones we needed hanged.

My first ever mafia game I got consig. Had no idea what I was doing but I found jailor who hadn’t claimed and we killed them. Also had some other good finds too

I played as a blackmailer with consort and godfather. Claimed spy. Accidentally got consort killed. No coven. Godfather gets voted. I mind gamed the remaining players into thinking there was a quiet necro and won.
I once got killed in a game N1 because I was called ditto the death note said “gotta catch them all”

29:03 This is why I have a policy to never kill surv claims as evil. Whenever they're not surv/amne/some other role you can get on your side, they're usually some role with defense. You can always lynch them later if they don't join you

I once had the name Butterscotch in a GA game. A jester was pushing me because of my name lol. It was because I had eaten butterscotch pudding earlier, but some people assumed it was the drink so I got killed because of that lol. Inno'd the jest but died to maf because of my name. My target, an arso, won though :D

This doesn't make them ignite anymore since the arso rework, it makes them douse themselves, so it's still effective as a roleblock and a deterrent (since if they survived the next day they'd need to afk that night so they don't suicide, allowing the CL/Witch a night to do something else unless the arso just accepts his fate and blows up to take the CL/Witch out with him)

What I love to do as consig, is finding neutral killing roles or coven and blackmailing them into doing the shit maf needs for a while.
Its difficult to pull off, cause you haveto find someone willing to play along, when most people in this game are more likely to either kill you or ignore you and be incredibly boring in that way.

When i played town of salem, i used to name myself 'potasabuson'. I like to think that prevented people from visiting/asking about me because of the long name

BG Buff idea: give him a one night of using a heavy vest or advanced vest or something like that where he gets a powerful defense while on a target so they live and kill the bad guy this way they aren't just crus but better but also get to do a little more strategy to how they play

Yeah consig is surprisingly underrated, I usually claim invest and copy/paste the results of the role that I invest, it's a really good strategy and is, again, surprisingly underrated.
Yeah i do the same thing, if I find an arso and town doesn't lynch them based on my invest will, I'll straight-up admit I'm consig in order to get them out.
Speaking of Congislere, I had a game where I found 15 as Juggernaut N1. Then the game went on with 15 alive, it was then SK or WW vs Jugg vs Congis turned Mafioso (me). I said I’d let the SK/WW win, 15 claimed SK/WW, I changed my mind and said I let the Jugg win, 15 then claimed Jugg, I asked why he lied. He said that he “didn’t know.” I let Juggernaut win that game…
