I think I'd cry my eyes out if I was seeing this live. This is truly beautiful music and the ghibli movies have always invoked such emotions through that music.

Nausicaa me conmovió hasta las lágrimas. Es muy fuerte esa imagen de la anciana llorando diciendo "cuanta empatía" cuando Nausicaa camina por el campo dorado.

Growing up in the USA in the 80s it was called 'Warriors of the Wind'. Saw it on HBO many times. In later years I came to realize it was heavily edited and poorly translated but, the essence was still the same as well as the great music.
The amount of sheer dedication to the music that all of these individuals came together to compose is quite amazing! I love Joe Hisaishi’s older works as well, definitely look them up if you like this 👍👍

El hecho de que lo que cantan los Coros es la letra del Dies Irae (pronunciar dies ire), en la parte de la introducción me destroza el corazón. (significa Dia de la Ira) y habla del apocalipsis en que Dios, por fin acabe con todo lo malo que hay en el mundo. Pero a pesar de que es una letra religiosa se adapta a la perfección al mensaje que nos brinda Nausicaä. La tierra está llena de ira por lo que hemos hecho de ella, y cuando queramos remediar nuestra horrible situación, ya va a ser muy tarde.
The fact that what the Choirs sing is the lyrics of Dies Irae in the introduction part breaks my heart. (That means Day of Wrath) and talks about the apocalypse in which God finally puts an end to everything bad in the world. But even though it is a religious lyric, it adapts perfectly to the message that Nausicaä gives us. The earth is full of anger for what we have done to it, and by the time we want to remedy our horrible situation, it will already be too late.
