For people who haven't tried Thundering Fury ayato in electro charged teams, yalls are missing out. Its really an underrated comp coz he can have 100% uptime on his skillđ
I saw a theorycrafter using that set on a hyperbloom team and I got so upset because I already dumped 1000 artifacts on gladiator a week ago đ

It's only good on paper, the 6 secs window matches the time you need to do your rotation so it's not a problem and you'll lose dps because you have overall not optimal 4 pc bonus. It's good for fun tho, if that's your thing, go for it.

I have both Childe and Ayato. As mentioned in the video, they are great in different situations but the main advantage Ayato has is his versatility and ease of use. I love Childe and his big nukes but Ayato is just satisfying to use. And it makes Spiral Abyss easier for me too! I don't have to have perfect rotations and builds. Ayatos cooldowns, energy cost, playstyle is very noob friendly

Since it wasn't mentioned in the video, Ayato is absolutely busted in Hyperbloom with EM Kuki and DMC or Nahida; super easy to play and does insane damage.
You can also use the curse blade which is easy to get and craft if you've completed Kazuha's quest

I really enjoy playing him after ayaka. Maxing him out slowly and raising traveller dendro with raiden comp
Was pulling for C5 Rosaria as I think she is one of the most underrated 4 stars. With a blizzard strayer set she's a very good cryo support and can give up to 55% crit to supporting team members. I wanted to get to c5 for maximum support on my Wanderer (who now I only have e to focus on crit dmg att% and anemo dmg). Wanderer passive also gives a extra 20% crit. Making him a beast in freeze teams and always at 100% crit rate. Got ayato along the way and my freeze team is complete. Ayato, Wanderer, Kazuha and Rosaria. It's an extremely fun world exploration team the freezes and deletes everything.

As an Ayato main and Ayato being my favorite character in all of Genshin hereâs my tip. If u want Ayato bc heâs Ayato. Pull him. If u want Ayato bc heâs a strong hydro dps, you can still pull him, but keep in mind every hydro character is also a versatile dps, sub dps, support etc. so you wonât miss out on anything by not getting him. If u want a strong hydro dps thatâs versatile, fun, and easy to use youâre in luck! Thatâs literally every hydro character. If u want Ayato specifically youâre also in luck! Heâs literally on the banner right now!

My main reason pulling this character was his elemental skill.
That was the main reason of pulling him.
I like it but I got tired just watching his gameplay
tldr: he is rlly cosy and versatile. he is an amazing onfield driver for reactions, while also having good dmg. he is incredibly easy to build and play with his simplistic kit.
Ayato is so cozy to play. Ayato's e has a cooldown that will reset once you finish his e and use supports, his E is non-aim and click dependent, his burst (while not necessary) has a short cooldown and low energy requirement, his 2nd best artifact set (only a slight dmg loss from echoes) is gladiators, he can be used for hypercarry, electrocharge, burgeon (i belive he is the best char for thoma burgeon), hyperbloom, vaporize, fridge, freeze and nahida bloom, he can use many f2p swords, he doesnt need consts and his sig weapon (jade cutter's performance is very similar to haran), his dmg is decent for a carry (can easily 9star f12 with higher investment in even a hypercarry team), he is really fucking hot, he generates energy off field when under 40 energy, his talents are easier to level up (normal atk doesnt need any levels, and burst does not need super high levels), he ascends with crit dmg making building even easier (also works even better with crit rate swords like haran and jade cutter), alot of his good supports are 4stars (bennett, yunjin, candace, sucrose, fischl (for taser/hyperbloom teams), dendro traveller), his semi-hp scaling makes building even easier, (I have already said this before in other ways but) his kit is super easy to learn.
here are some swords that I personally recommend (i am only rlly talking ab the swords I own and use, as i cannot make a good judgement on others)
Early game: Harbinger of dawn ofc
Mid-later game F2P:
Kagotsurube Isshin is a free weapon from Kazuha's story quest
Amenmoa Kageuchi is a craftable weapon that I suggest for players who have Ayato at low ER (less than around 110)
In taser teams, Lions roar is a gacha 4star that can be somewhat usefull if you have refinements
The Flute is also a decent pick for Ayato, as he deals alot of normal atks
Mid-later game light spender-dolphin
The Black Sword increases his normal atk, and gives CR
Blackcliff Longsword gives CD, and is good for large groups of weaker enemies rather than single targets
Late game/Whale
It wont let me edit to continue, but
Haran is obviously best in slot, increases elemental dmg and normal atk dmg
Jade Cutter is slightly worse than Haran, but it can be used on more characters due to it's more universal passive
Mistsplitter is worse than Haran and Jade cutter imo, but is also a great option if there is nothing else
I want to pull ayato cause i want to collect every husbandos but i lost my 50/50 on scara and i really want him so my collection will have to wait at least until i got scara
I also want to pull for alhaitham since i really need a dendro character i only have collei and traveller plus his a husbando too so its a win win,i will start really focusing saving for scara after i got alhaitham

I've been praying for a particular dendro husbando from liyue to release and im never getting him. I swear if i get his adopted zombie girl instead ill cry when I pull for him in the year 2999.(beizhu release when)
If rumors are to be believed, the Liyue Dendro husbando is in 3.6. Might be a good time to save, but nothing's confirmed yet so spend your primos wisely ;w;)b

The only reason I pulled for Ayato is because Iâve played Childe a lot, but his rotations are extremely hard to master. And meanwhile Ayato can be put on field for like 8 seconds and be swapped back after doing a few normal attacks.
Would he be good with my current team? If not, feel free to give me suggestions.

I already decided to get him. I liked him after that event in 3.3, I dont have or want Childe, and my only 2 hydro characters I have are reader guy and Barbruh, and, well, they are not that great at dealing with pyro. Well, reader is alright, but hes E is so long that I might prefer my long used Barbruh more. And also, I think I will return her if I get Ayato. I just hope that it will not be Mona, second Diluc or Jean.

To be honest holding the mouse button can also be seen as a pro, because clicking 100x for some characters becomes annoying (and carpal tunnel) fast
