Hi I'm a Christian and I am just learning about my Jewish roots. You popped up on my CZcams thank you so much for this video you are are such a warm and welcoming soul. ❤️
This is such a wonderful video about Passover. Everything on the table look so great. You are such a great home organizer, wife and mother, so awesome!
Everything you do has your unique touch and turns out so beautiful! 😍 our tastes are super similar so I'm totally living vicariously through your home's textiles, colors, and decor! ❤
This beautiful videos really help the ones that we are attach to the Hebrew roots and learn that we must celebrate in The month of Nisan, in the explanations in videos no one specifies if the dinner is the 14 or 15 until when and how to close the Passover and shabbat,so if you decide to add that information that would be wonderful, also some add videos of the Passover celebration, if you happen to know who is that that has a nice video with prayers and the whole celebration please let us know
@@MyJewishMommyLife It was originally a hoped-for 3/23 shipping date, when I ordered it several months back. Then the email notice I got a day or so ago said I should get it by 3/22. Today it is here 3/17!
Thank you so much for this lovely video. Your seder table is beautiful and meaninful. I love how you incorporated special family traditions and your children's art work on the table.
@@MyJewishMommyLife you are very welcome. I like how our separate religions and traditions intertwine around Christmas /hanukkah and easter/passover. We have some similarities just different meanings behind them.
Love your hairband. Got a notice that your book is due here next week. Hooray! Have you done a video about actual Passover supper foods to be served throughout the week while meeting the restrictions? Thanks for the practical checklist. Oh, I know "Kayla and Kugels." So glad you shared some good books. You have a beautiful table setting with gorgeous Judaica items.
@@MyJewishMommyLife Most viewers are fine with your preparing something and then doing a voiceover to describe it, if you can find an advantageous camera angle.
Is it possible that you could say what the meanings behind each ofnthe items on the table are please for those of us who are not ofbthe Jewish faith ? You have a plate with an egg and herbs etc. It would be lovely to know their significance as a Christian. Thankyou x
The egg has not biblical significance. They say it represents new life or some say it represents the sacrifices made. The egg is likened to easter which neither has anything to do with the Bible.
I'm Catholic so this is interesting ❤️. Question I'm confused about the "symbolic cup of Elijah" .I thought jewish people are literally waiting for him to come and sit with u all. Thank u. What type of jewish group are u btw 🌷
Love the arrangement it looks beautiful! I'm so confused, does Passover start Saturday night, like is it day 1 of Passover, or is it Sunday day 1 of Passover? Do you repeat everything you did on the 1st day till is the last day of Passover? I don't want to do any mistakes Please help me understand!. 😩
Will you be eating more food like a main course that is not shown? Because what I see would not be enough food for everyone? I just got back from my first tour of Israel 🇮🇱 I went to Jerusalem with my church and I got baptized in the Jordan river 💦☀️🙏
The only thing is, the egg is not anywhere it the story. Neither is the salt water or just a shank bone... Most of it has meaning but the egg just doesn’t as it doesn’t relate and is not in the story.
There is a lot wrong with this especially making up words as well as incorrect traditions and Seder. Where is the cup for yachatz? Will your husband do the fast for the firstborn? Did you kosher the kitchen, and house? It is haggadot not haggadas, symbolisms is not a word.
What a hater! Family traditions are priceless! Yachts cups stay in the kitchen until needed and filled with water from the sink...no need to have it on the table. This video is about a Seder table, not the cleaning, kashring, fasting etc. Marion has a topic, and that’s not it. And Haggadas is a totally valid plural of Haggadah! Chill out and quit the hate
There are no right or wrong traditions! What you find acceptable very much depends on which branch of judaism you identify with. Also some of the things you're missing have been addressed in Marion's talk with Rabbi Greenberg. He also makes the point that you only need three things on the seder table: matzah, bitter herbs, and a stand in for the sacrifice, usually a bone. That's it. Now we only have to turn up at the table and somebody has to ask a question. So yes, chill. Pass over is meant to be a joyous affair.
Looks like who ever has so many questions is confused. I love my old Maxwell house hagada. I old school. I don't like to change what my grandfather taught me that his grandfather taught him. Go back 30 times or so and that was the generation that literally left Egypt. Once I have kept the tradition Now the fun begins. I make mistakes for my children to catch like pouring salt water in to my kidish cup. I put jello pounder in my glass cup. And when we get to the 10 plagues I pour water it turns red like blood. My oldest daughter just asked me for ketchup. I know she is up to something. I hope it's not going to be messy. I throw at everybody 2 colored marshmallows and call it hale. The sky is the limit. But whatever I do. We have to finish the AFICOMAN by midnight. For that is what my grandfather taught from his grandfather. I just wish I had a glass slipper and maybe even pour some wine into it just to throw the kids off. Injoy your sader! And may Moshiach come this year and Elijah end his nazarite and drink from the cup already. I'm getting tired of shaking the table and saying look some is missing.

A Kosher n Freilichn Pesach
You lost all credibility when you insert your "family custom" for the havdalah candle, follow halacha.
its not pisah its PESAH, ALL OTHER IS GOOD :)

Criticism is fine as long as it is helpful and not just complaining. Speak the truth in love, friends.

The Torah doesn’t actually say anything about fasting for the first born. That is man made tradition.
