    He is certainly a great player, but what I really like is the demeanor while playing. No ridiculous "chos", or screaming, or fist pumping. He is just cool and efficient and quiet. He is intimidating in this way.

    Everytime I see Koki Niwa plays, it always reminds me of Waldner. I think Niwa just evolved Waldner's blocking style to fit with modern table tennis.

    Niwa's reflex N counter punches n delicate touch return n all the techniques are second 2 none. He should be favorite in Tokyo Olympic 2020 in single, unless I have not seen the number one Chinese player playing Niwa. Needs find out n 2 restate of my prediction.
