@@kv8999 Yoel chose not to be aggressive because he was scared of Izzy's counter punching. He's the challenger. It's his job to take the title. Izzy is the champ. It's his job to DEFEND the title. It's more fun if both guys stand and trade, but if one person has more responsibility to be hyper aggressive it's always the challenger.

In Adesanyas pre fight Mac life interview he said the co main event with the women would steal the show and that it would be fight of the night and in my opinion he was bang on. Izzy did what he had to do and got the W but it’s like he knew how both the co main and the main event would go and predicted the outcomes to a tee. Coincidence? Maybe, but I don’t believe that, I believe his knowledge of mixed martial arts is above most and that’s how he predicted these outcomes. Full respect to every fighter tonight and I wish them all the best.
A lot of people said that. Lmao. You should see how Joanna fights. You should also see Weili's last 20 fights. Joanna is known for her toughness, cardio, and output. Weili is a power puncher and well rounded fighter that can stand in front of Joanna and trade. I'm glad to see that Joanna didn't lose her chin and got her weight cut on point. That's a dumb thing to say because there are so many variables that can cause a fight to go in any direction. That's a major reason why people the sport is like nothing else. There are too many factors.

Why are people being so hard on Yoel? He was the ONLY one going after his opponent throwing BIG shots trying to get that KO and throwing MASSIVE counter left hooks. Adesanya kept his distance and wouldn't engage in punching range much at all and kept kicking his legs... which is the smart thing to do... but it was Adesanya that wouldn't engage.
Izzy played the smart game..He saw Yoel was basically sitting and plotting waiting for Izzy to get too close and open up on him..He wasn't going to risk that so after he got clipped in the first he changed his game plan to distance management and only striking when necessary which is why he relied on his kick boxing so much
