I sent this song to the love of my life back when we were younger, I went to basic training and joined the army only to receive a break up letter in the mail while I was still in basic. 10 years later and unfortunately she's still the love of my life but my voice can't reach her anymore. Story time ~ I was an awful husband. Genuinely someone who needed to feel heartbreak and deserved very little in a relationship but expected the world. I left my crying wife for the Army, the last message I received was that she couldn't handle the stress of my leaving and was going to off herself. A month later, after getting my ass discharged and leaving the career I had wanted since a boy, I came home - in my eyes to save my wife and love her like I always should have. But she had already found love in another, and she was ready to divorce me. So I lost my house, wife, and dog. Growing up sure can be difficult, and love makes life all the more surreal.
