TBH, good for her. She's worked hard and earned it, and donates to charities, food banks, and causes over the years. She pays her staff well and gives out enormous bonuses (50 million this year alone to her tour staff). She pays her taxes, etc. You don't hear about legal, employment, etc issues from her. I do hope one she creates some sort of foundation or charity, but, at least it's going to a deserving and good person that's worked hard for the wealth she has, and done it through smart choices, rather than exploiting people and laborers and the system.
Earned it? LOL. she was born rich. Very rich.

While I wouldn’t call myself a Swifty, I respect her as a businesswoman, and I think she is a great role model for young women to follow your dreams and gain financial independence. One of my favorite lyrics growing up was when she said “ back, then I swore I was going to marry him one day, but I realized some bigger dreams of mine.” It’s just so so true.

She had the best timing. The stars aligned for her in every way. She's giving her fans what they want and she's killing it.

They forgot her house in Paris. She gave her crew (those working on the Eras’ tour) a bonus of $100,000,000. There were a lot of people working behind the scenes. She gave money to food banks in the cities where she played. Two countries begged her to have concerts in their cities but she declined. There reasoning was that she brings in so much money. People travel to get to the concert, spend the night in a hotel, eat meals while in the city, and gas up when they leave. Plus everything needed for the people involved in the tour. Place to stay, food, gas, etc. This really brings in extra money for the cities, their businesses, etc. She donated quite a bit to food banks in the cities she had her concerts at. She’s a great humanitarian.

This video seems like an auditors nightmare. Income is being mixed with assets. This is an incomprehensible jumbled mess and doesn't even mention an equities portfolio. Given her parents background there is no way she doesn't have extensive holdings.
She's been doing all of this over 17 years and we haven't heard of any tax or fraud or legal issues from her. I'm sure she has a team(s) of accountants and lawyers that handle her taxes for her. Plus, yes, her parents both worked in finance.
The IRS already knows this information. This isn't a secret. She reports this information already.

If you earn 3 billion dollars and spend it on escorts, drugs and quickly depreciating assets, you definitely will not have 3 billion dollars in wealth. I know this isn't the case with Swift, but the broader point stands.

That's just an estimate. You did not even itemized her expenses. She has a multitude of people that works for her, that also has salaries. In Mexica, she paid for.rooom of everyone. What about taxes, gifts that she gives, charities that she donates to. And when she eats out with her friends, her bodyguards (who probably holds her card) pay for everyone. If she is generous to her friends, obviously she is generous to her family. And Olivia Benson her cat is worth US $ 97M. Where in Taylor's fortune is that? Did they actually gave 97M to Olivia?

The reason musicians have a tendency to horribly drop in net worth in the latter years of their lives is simply because their asset compositions usually lack longevity and cash flow. Music Rights will eventually lose a lot of value. Unfortunately, those properties are all in use and not RENTAL so eventually she is gonna end up ASSET RICH and CASH POOR. They really need to think about ASSET COMPOSITIONS because I don't see many long-term cashflow-generating assets there.
