Das Auto war eine einzige Katastrophe. Die Kohlefaser-Bodengruppe wurde bei MBB in Laupheim hergestellt. Reihenweise rissen Besitzer den Handbremshebel aus dessen Verankerung. Es gab einen mobilen Reparaturservice, welcher mit einer Vakuumpumpe ausgestattet war. Mit Hilfe dieser Pumpe wurde beim Besitzer dieser Handbremshalter wieder in den Mitteltunnel eingelebt.😱😱😱😱 Viele Grüße aus Warthausen bei Biberach an der Riß
its a cabriolet, the window stays a little bit down when the door is up. thats for safety for your window. when the top is closed and it doesnt fit verry well anymore because of the age of that top that is going to make a issue when you close the door. you have a very big chance that your window will chatter. when the top is totaly closed and locked than the window will go up to the the proper hight
Not true at all, for regular swing open doors on more recent cabriolets the window will drop slightly on opening and closing the door to protect the window top, the doors on this car raise and lower on slides and as the opens the window rolls open fully to allow access, as it closes it closes fully up to the roof line. This is a relatively common problem and required the drive belt that moves the components (possibly replacing) and retensioning.
Not true. The Z1 is doing this because it has a setting that returns the window the the previous arrangement when popping the door back up… if it was propped down then the windows would return to that propped down position

Lmao I bet those idiots left the window slightly open because thats what happens when the window was open before you opened the doors and it retracts to the same position after closing them I just lost a minute of my life
clearly not, because it closed properly the first time. try again though. the load switch is determining something is jamming the window, which could just be dirty window tracks/regulator/motor position sensor. these types of problems are generally not worth fixing unless you own the car and have the ability to maintain it/fix it yourself.
The only downside to these cool looking doors is their complexity... Much like the Gull or Falcon wing, it's a great aesthetic choice. Not so much a practical one... Shame...
