A last-round championship fight between Ben Kelley and Steward Baylor with the Grand National Cross Country Series title was drama enough, but then massive rain nearly drowned the Yamaha Ironman GNCC course. Yet the swamp monsters of GNCC still raced to win, and the famous 'mud flea' fans were there to push them through the water and the muck.
