"No books, no wisdom. just you my brother" I've just finished AC Bloodlines yesterday and when I heard this line again with that legendary theme I was going to break in tears
Idc what anyone says. This right here is what made revelations the best game in ac history. This tied in not only the original story but ezios as well. And did it FLAWLESSLY
Two different lives. Two different time periods. Two different countries. Two different languages. Yet this is where both of their stories of assassin's come to an end, Altair dying in the chamber and ezio retiring after seeing enough for one life time. What amazing games man, this takes me back to the days man.
Haven't played much Assassin's Creed... never really liked the way Ubisoft handled the series after AC4... but even I have to admit that this is a pretty fucking awesome scene. I mean, sure, plenty of games have you meet the protagonists from previous games, but how many games have you meet the decomposed skeletal remains of said previous protagonist centuries later? Let's be honest, AC after Black Flag has been, disappointing to say the least, but for a good few years, their success and praise was well earned.
Can someone explain this scene to me. I played II back when I was 8-10 so I don’t remember much. Just started playing Black Flag today. I’m wondering what makes this scene so legendary.
Ah no prob, well you should have played 2, Brotherhood and Revelations in sequence, but nvm. Altaïr Ibn-La-Ahad was a master assassin during the Third Crusade, he was the mentor of the Brotherhood until Abbas betrayed and had to leave Masyaf after his wife and his youngest son's death. Besides this, Altaïr was the wisest Assassin, and his wisdom was unparalleled. Ezio Auditore da Firenze was a master Assassin from the Italian Renaissance era, he became the Mentor during the events of AC: Brotherhood. Oh yes, during AC2 he was introduced to Altaïr, and also the Armor of Altaïr by uncle Mario, and also the codex pages. The hidden blade Ezio acquired was the modified version by Altaïr. Ezio was formally and ceremonially taken to the Italian Brotherhood of Assassins... We see an evolution in his character, from a young man aiming for vengeance and revenge for his family's death to a man aiming for wisdom and for completing the tasks his father left behind. This scene in revelations, is about Ezio collecting a key to Altaïr's library (containing an Apple of Eden) from Altaïr skeletal remains. Now going back to Altaïr, at age 92, he locked himself in his library in Masyaf, after returning to the Brotherhood as the Mentor at age 82. So, I hope you now understand why this scene is considered so much of a legendary scene in the entire franchise... The mentor of the Assassins meeting his mentor, The Mentor. (Edited some frickin autocorrect errors)
@@user-cn9fq3vb9u Dont forget that Altair is the father of the new Assasisns, the Assasisn mark their history as: before and after Altair becasue he reorganized the brotherhood and give them a new and major meaning and objective, also thanks to him the brotherhood expanded across the world.

@@jorgeloredo100 yup for sure
wait which assassin creeed is this?
Anthony Conde it's written on the title but for the benefit of the doubt it AC: Revelation
Anthony Conde revelation
It seems like u haven't played the true legendary games
Miss when AC used to be all about story. Now it's all just repeativive rpg gameplay
I may never understand why he said "fratello mio" to his Great Great Great Greate Grand Father!
Why no Altair meet Bayek and Aya(Amunet)
Different timeline bro
Centuries apart
between bayek and Altair, there's literally a whole millennia
i'd like to see a scene with Bayek and Amunet getting a glimpse into the future
seeing altiair saying your myths go on to create legends of their own.
