Love that airplane! Fun time seeing you at Osh.
Was great to meet all of you guys at Osh, thanks for all the tips with regards to my own vlogs. Refreshing that y'all are just as awesome in person as you seem to be in these videos. Can't wait until OSH 2019!
steveo1kinevo Hi I watched your videos and especially when you flew the Cirrus Sr22T!! I love that airplane it looks really fun to fly and has a lot of nice and cool features on it!!
Another great clip Josh! You have a very mature outlook and deliver the important points of value in every lesson, Thanks!
Great job, Josh. I’m a big fan of the SR22T, so watching you in the left seat was a big treat. Keep up the good work!
Great vid! Really been looking at this aircraft lately, glad to see it in your vids!
Once a again, you did an amazing job josh. I love watching your videos, being a student pilot myself I can't get enough info and experience from the great CZcams pilot community!!!
Great video as always Josh. The SR22 is an awesome plane for sure!
Had the privilege of flying the sr22t for a couple hours when I was a student pilot. I absolutely fell in love with it
Ur an inspiration buddy!! Love what you do for the aviation community. I hope I'll be able to meet ya someday! God bless!
Wow! That airplane is awesome! Thank you for the video!
You flew that airplane very well. Enjoyed the vid, hope to see more like it. The Cirrus is awesome.
Loved it looks like fun. I hope to get in the sky in the right seat one day. Thanks for sharing.
Enjoyed this flight. I fly this plane on the simulator and appreciated the best practice procedures for flying this plane. Thanks.
awesome video! thanks for sharing
Loved it , Loved it, If somebody did not like it they do not like Aviation at all. Keep it up Josh.
OUTSTANDING JOB-Pilot!
Josh, it was awesome seeing you at OSH18! You have great content!
Great video. Length of video was good to give time for content. Great to meet you at AirVenture. Hats off to your great aviation future.
love your videos, great plane, good job flying it.
You say you are out of your comfort zone but one would never know. I think you are the consummate pilot in the early stages of your career. Your skills are way beyond your experience. Enjoy your progress so much and really look forward to all you do.
Keep the aviator passion alive!
Outstanding video. Fantastic Job! Keep it up. Best Regards from Vienna
That Cirrus is 1 hell of a good plane. Love that plane man.
cirrus videos+ your videos= epic
Can’t wait for your Oshkosh arrival video!
So, I knew that you were IFR certified, but- it was AWESOME to have such a pro in the right seat. I didn't know about the weather build checklist- and, the way you cut the video was great. Loved the deviations, the co-pilot checks- even the 'sterile cockpit' reminder (request?) at San Marcos! Great right seat support made you feel confident in all aspects of the G1000- which i think is a little newer to you for RNAV, etc... What a nice plane- great (insane) performance, sweet speed, all systems are fast and responsive. I used to dis the Cirrus a little (overpriced, etc...) this flight has stopped me from armchair judgement. It truly is an awesome platform.
Love the SR22. Nice job!
Great video these are the best!
Josh, great video! I'm a Sky Hawk guy from way back and if I was to buy and fly again I would pick that Cirrus Turbo. You nailed those landings. Fly safe!
Made it look easy. Great Job Guys 👍
Great seeing you in the Cirrus may be one day you could fly with Niko"s Wing that would be a fun video.
Beautiful plane..
Love your videos
Wish i could fly over here in South Africa like there. I dream to have a Licence one day and hopefully owing my own aitplane.
Josh, you're my HERO!
That looked like San louis pass in Galveston we go there all the time
Love you videos
nice one, Josh. Thanks
I thought that was a very nice landing Josh. Great video!
Excellent video. You and Steveo do an excellent job on your videos. I one thing I like is how you both keep talking, explaining things you're doing. JessiFlies does a lot of insets of instruments in the lower left and right of the screen to show how your flight is doing. Great for us watching. Teaches us as we're watching. Also, there are no "Dead Zones" in the video. In other words, you keep things moving along. Your viewers like me aren't getting bored. Hope you don't mind the suggestions. Looking forward to the next video.
Really nice flying in the Cirrus, Josh. You right seater is a pretty sharp pilot too..
Love the vids
Good on you for trying a new aircraft!
Nice flight good job 👍😎
Hey Josh great video. It was fun to meet you and your dad at OSH. Hope you had a good flight back.
My dream plane!!
Good meeting you at Osh! You’re a legend.
this is awesome
Nice video, thanks for sharing and welcome to the Cirrus life. I was just wondering how did you manage to place the tripod there. I have been wanting to record my flights from there but have not found a good solution yet.
Great video great airplane. The paramotors looks like it will be a fun series to watch I have been watching the shenanigans of Tucker Gott for
a while. Safe travels.
Hey Josh-- you have your High Perf now? Got mine in a SR22. Great plane.
I picked up your boost cowl carb gumppfs check from your videos. You have definitely influenced how I fly!
Awesome video Josh it was a pleasure and honor to meet you and Kris and your dad and your friend sorry I don't remember his name at Oshkosh looking forward to next year 2019..
awesome video!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sweet new flying Cowboys cap. I hope there's a collaboration video in the future!
Nice video Josh , I video my flights myself in a Cirrus sr20 using multi camera angles . Keep up the good work . any plans to record more videos in the Cirrus ??
Love the cirrus videos. For reference on weather latency in NEXRAD, you can see the delay time in the lower right hand corner. One thing to always be vigilant with when avoiding weather using NEXRAD is that you are looking at a snapshot from up to 10 minutes ago, not the current weather. Its a valuable tool but not without its shortcomings. Keep the videos coming!
The delay varies. But remember, all Metars can be up to an hour old. So a little latency for distance weather is not a big deal.
You handled the Cirrus like a veteran! It must be fun for you to fly a turboprop and experience the speed of the aircraft. Am a subscriber and an avid fan of your videos!
The SR22T is a turbo, not a turboprop (gas cylinder engine). A turboprop is also called a jetprop, it has a propeller attached to the back of a jet engine.
Beautiful airplane. Exciting getting to experience new things like that. I have been in the back seat of an SR22 a couple of times but have never even been in the front. Would love to have hands on in the left seat like that.
Aero360Aviation >beautiful airplane
wrong, it had an alphabetical keyboard. i’d rather fly a pigeon than this garbage aircraft
Well each person has their own preferences. I prefer low and slow with steam gauges myself and I tend to be wary of things that rely too heavily on computers (I am old fashioned) but at the same time I respect a well crafted and capable machine.
I've heard people say that about Ferrari cars. Clearly an opinion not shared by very many people.
@@Aero360Aviation Then you should not take advise from ATC, they are all computerized. And oh yea, AWOS/ATIS is also computerized. And oh yea, every tower is sitting in front of a room full of computers.
hey I remember that flight! once again it was a pleasure to fly with you Josh! hope we get up in the skies again soon. -harry
I would love to fly with you. Bet I would learn a bunch. Sure josh enjoyed it as well.
I thought they have you 7000...anyway, you'll always be Mr. Aviation to us!
Great vlog . Your so fortunate to have a pilot friend that owns a neat airplane . Does he hanger his plane at the San Marcos Airport also ? Josh you did a great job flying & landing the Cirrus SR22T . Did you graduate from College yet ?
weird, when you said you were uncomfy with the G1000, because it didn't seem like this to me. the couple of shots of you operating the G100 left me under the impression you already knew it quite well. So, have you had a course on the G100 or anything?
That flying cowboys cap. Would love to see you fly with Trent and them.
I don’t know way but in my opinion the old style panel instruments (like yours C172) is much fun and you got a lot more flying experience..
Jose as a lighting
director for a tv studio great lighting and like the blue back light
Enjoyable IFR cross country video! If you would like to try a rare aircraft experience, pay a visit to Zeppeline NT( Friedrichshafen, Germany) and fly their airship for a day. I flew the one in California in 2009 before Airship Ventures closed the business.
Blue skies!
Excellent video Josh as usual! Just wished the instruments and Harry's ipad were more close at moments... :)
I might be biased.. but don't commit to powered parachutes until you try gliders.. That Texas weather is ideal for long cross country soaring flights and there are lots of great clider clubs in Texas (Soaring Society of America website has a where-to-fly map) (the World Gliding Championships were held in Uvaldi a few years ago).. Those puffy, flat bottomed cumulus all set up in a row, when you were flying that day, looked awesome.. Lots of lift and you could probably establish very high cross country speeds..
Time to upgrade!
do you have a merch store? If so where can I find it?
Josh, What is your opinion of flying the Sirrus, being a new pilot who has, to date, only flown a 172?
Why did you NOT include the C.A.P.S. parachute emergency system in a thorough preflight checklist?
I wonder how fast the Cirrus would go with retractable gear?
"Direct to Pukie"? Navigation fix? :-) Excellent video as usual! Thanks !!
What do you think about the stick yoke. Can it be easily transitioned to
Love the Cirrus - great airplane! They seem to be getting a lot of video time these days - the sales reps are really getting around! Okay by me.....
Sorry I missed you at Oshkosh. I would love to meet you.
Left Seat in the Cirrus would be a awesome. Josh , I was wondering if you might do a collaboration with Tucker Gott in the future. A friend just turned me on to his channel and Para Motor is amazing ... I really enjoy all your videos and as a non-pilot aviation enthusiast you videos provide a real insight to the world inside the cockpit.
I have a commercial multi engine pilots license and I’m a CFII. how long would it take me to learn a paramotor?
I would love to learn to fly but there just aren’t any options around me. I’m stuck on the ground. Enjoy the skies!
You were getting around the G1000 pretty well. Prior experience with it? I also enjoyed watching 2-pilot IFR.
" Brace for impact. " lol D~
I just saw this Cirrus listed on Controller!
What exactly does “Weather, Brief, Build” mean?
How do you two log these?
Right seater is SUPER cute
You are a natural born pilot!
Josh, if you have spoken about this before, I apologize, but I noticed that you have a mini ipad, and Harry had the 10.5 or 9.7. I am leaning toward the mini, but wanted to get your opinion. Also ipad brackets and cases that you like or dislike. Thanks in advance.
Remember SOP, despite what you see on youtube, is not to deploy CAPS. Lol one may get confused.
hope you had fun at osh18
Josh, have you considered getting a Cirrus of your own? It seems to be a great airplane. Fly safe and have fun! :)
I heard NASA 924 chime in on the audio. I worked at NASA Ellington.
Josh, I haven’t gotten a bill via Patreon as usual, can you tell me what is going on with this? Is it something with my end on the billing or ??
Gear Up? Indicated?
How much hours do you have?
Hi. Are you going to post your trip to Oshkosh from this year? I watched you travel back on flightradar24.
I'm sure he's gonna. I saw him filming some of the night show on Saturday.
Nice ! Wanted to do the same but time zone difference in New Zealand inhibited it !. Looked like a great time
I find it surprising that people would call a paramotor crazy or that you’d have to be so brave to try one. I’ve never been around one but it seems like probably the safest way imaginable to fly to me. If anything goes wrong you’re already in a fully deployed parachute.....
If you want to know which way storms are moving check 500mb winds.
So you leave fuel pump on all the time? Doesn't that increase risk of it overheating or diminish its tbo? What about increased load on battery and alternator?
The Cirrus has a boost/prime pump. The engine drives the fuel pump. Prime setting is used to cold start. The boost pump position is used to keep fuel pressure a bit higher during hot days to avoid vapor lock. The boost pump is robust and can be left on during flight, but should be shut off during taxi.
"Gear up", "Gear Up, and indicated"....."Gear down", Gear Down and welded!" ROFLMAO....
Tucker Gott and Aviation101 crossover episode next!!!
Your next ride should be in the left seat of the other single by Cirrus, the Vision Jet! Keep up getting high the legal way.
I'm not a CFI yet (working on it), but I am a military instructor pilot, and I teach my students that "as required" is never a proper checklist response. You respond with the setting that you've selected, and maybe why it's selected that way. "As required" is a space holder for a step that may have multiple valid settings.
I'd say "As required:" and chase it with the requirement.
