Wow, I'm completely blown away with the tone of this bass and it's passive.. Great Job Harley Benton ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐💯💯💯💯💯
Made mines a budget beast! New fender pickups, kellings sounds electronics and a new string tree
Very nice bass for the money. Thank you for this great demo ! As usual ;-)
You make all basses sound great
Great Player with no clicks between de notes!!! Very professional!!!!
2:00 - that little run there ;) on the G string.
I comment because I own a few Harley Benton instruments, and pretty much straight out of the box they're damn nice to play. I have the JB-40FL 3, which is a fretless bass AND THE HEAVIEST BASS/GUITAR THAT I OWN. Seriously. The thing is heavy to pick up, but the playing of it is ease. And after watching countless videos of affordable fretless basses (particularly Fender/Squier/Ibanez) the only one that sounded like a fretless was the JB-40FL 3. And it was only £144.
I just recently got a HB JA-60SB, which is their version of the Fender Jazzmaster.
FANTASTIC GUITAR. Unfortunately, sometimes you get what you pay for at £139, where the bridge pickup was getting marked up by my plectrum. I only had the guitar for a few hours and it was already scuffed to the point a new pickup is the only way around it, for aesthetics.
BUT IT'S A FANTASTIC GUITAR. It has a resonance I've never heard on an electric before. Not even my hollow body has it. I tried every guitar I own to see if they "rang" like the HB JA-60SB. None did. It's like dissonant chimes after the note is hit. ANYWAY. I'm a fan of Harley Benton's line of instruments. They are "cheap", but you get something that's usable, sometimes quite different than what you're expecting, and Harley Benton's, as far as their "looks" really make nice looking guitars.
Viva Thomman !!!
I got one. It should not be such fun to play for so little money! Great bass, I recommend it!
😄 Sounds Great, and a great looking Bass too; 'Just got mine today, (same exact one) 'haven't played it yet, I'll get to it after I finish my "honey-do" list.😆👊🏾
@@64jazz Enjoy! The only thing I needed to do was to file the ends of the frets a little to avoid the tiny skin cuts when replacing the bass back into the guitar rack. Such a lovely instrument for the money!
Your demos sound so good. How are they recorded/what’s the signal chain?
Which sound better this or Harley Benton PB20 SBK? Thanks good video
Thank you for the video. I just ordered this bass!
What kind of strings are you using?
Your tone is amazing!
hi, those are the stock strings that came with the bass. enjoy your new instrument! :-)
Providing it hasn't changed since Bass Bonedo got theirs, Thomann says these basses are (at least nowadays) getting delivered with D'Addario EXL .045-.130 strings!
Hi!!! Do you prefer this or the Harley Benton MB5 ?
Thanks you😉👍
Interesting! can I ask for the weight and if the bass is unbalanced on the neck? Thank you!
It is very light (It feels around 4Kg max). The neck is slightly heavier than the body but as it is so light, it is very easy to stop it from diving, especially with a half-decent strap on it.
well!!
Hello, thank you very much for the review, I would like to know if there is a difference in the sound quality of the P pickup from the pj74/pj75 and pb20.
I've got a HB jb75 and they are slightly better with the roswell pickups in them.
How is it in terms of neck dive and overall comfort?
@@bassbonedo2158 thanks for the reply! In that case, pretty cool indeed!
Weight?
Басист очень ровно играет!
