There used to be a direct train from Disneyland Paris to St Pancras Station, London. That was easiest! Now you gotta change, but two trains - the Eurostar under the channel - still seems easier than airports. Flying, all the hassle of international security and so much waiting around, hardly seems worth it when there's better options! Plus, they wanted to get to Dover, not London, it seems :D

I have always had England on my bucket list for a while now and I look forward to seeing these videos. It's great to see you expanding this channel to traveling out of the country, it's going to be great insight for myself. One country I have been to is Cancun, Mexico. I went there in 2009 with some friends and I got to swim with dolphins.

So exciting to watch these videos. We were in England and France for the first time this summer. Spent two days in Dover and one day in Disneyland Paris during our 10 day trip. These videos are helping us relive so many happy memories from our trip this summer! So glad you got to get up on the cliffs - that was one of the absolute highlights of our trip - the views were absolutely stunning and it's so beautiful up there! Enjoy your travels and can't wait to see all the videos!!

Those baguettes just looked soooo good 🤤 and I hope you get a good rest after sharing such a heavy travel day. If your cruise ship pulls in to Greenock in Scotland then there is a train station not far away from the port to help you get on your travels to Glasgow or Edinburgh or Stirling etc. If you are docking in a different port then I am not so knowledgable, Greenock is just 10 mins from me but I am on the other side of the loch. Don't be afraid to ask for help, folk are friendly across the UK on the whole, but especially in Scotland. I hope you have a fantastic time and here's hoping you do get good wi-fi!

I have stayed at the Dover House Hotel. Each room is named after a castle in England. The castle you see up on the hill is the Dover Castle. I went there as well. You should check it out.

I DO love the trains in Europe. When we’re on our European tour, sadly don’t take too many trains but we DO take a lot of ferries with our 2 tour busses and 3 semis. The best secret is to run (don’t walk) to the check in desk to try and snag one of the few cabins that are usually available. They are very inexpensive but offer you a bed, desk and bathroom with shower that makes the trip much more enjoyable.
I looked it up, I'm in CA. The ruins are the old St. James Church. It was built by the Norman's, in 11th century. It was first damaged in WW1, then again in WW2. It is a grade ll preserved as a Heritage Designation, grade ll.
Hopefully that information is actually correct, I did look up the information on the internet.

I’m surprised you guys didn’t just take the Eurostar train straight to London from Paris.
I was wondering that too - it goes direct from the station they were at at Disneyland, takes 2 hrs 45 mins and costs 80 pounds vs the 60 pounds for the ferry plus all the extra trains busses etc.
I’ve done both ways and would never do anything other than the Eurostar again 😂
Must have really wanted to see those cliffs!

The lights are not flickering on camera of different wattage. its a frequency (prob 50Hz) that does not match your camera's shutterspeed (prob 60 fps). Watts have nothing to do with it. Hertz do.

I believe the ruins are of St. James's Church which was centuries old before bombs were dropped on it in the First and perhaps Second World War. I'm pulling this out of my head from the years I lived in the UK (dual US/UK citizen) so some of that could be wrong. In any case, it is reminder of the history that goes along with those cliffs.
