“The Impossible” is the third of a series of videos we have shot for “The Storm Within” album.
Working very closely with Patric Ullaeus and rEvolver Film Company our aim was to recreate the eerie and desolate sense we had while writing the songs for this - the 10th Evergrey album - One could say this is our first real attempt at inviting everyone into the cinematic world where we have been in mind and thought throughout this year while writing. We think the imagery speaks for itself. This is just the beginning. The storm is coming.

Having to also comment against this, the band's music helped me survive a traumatic breakup over 2 years that included a stretched out period of anxiety. No one reached out and nothing else helped. Music does just this, especially Evergrey.

It has taken me three cigars, and three full runs of the record to truly grasp just how amazing it works as a whole. The songs are amazing alone, but are so much more incredible when listening to the record all the way through. It one of the best journeys I have experienced with an Evergrey record. To me it is by far one of their best records to date. My deepest thanks to Tom and the guys for writing this one.

Agree! This album is so good. For me the best album Ive heard for a long time.
That inflection of Tom's voice at the 2:21 mark gives me freaking chills. Damnit, I didnt think Tom could get any better as he has always been stellar. All of these new nuances vocally in the new album is amazing and hope shows a little light into the future of what he can pull off. Thank you for continuing to evolve yourself and the band. Sometimes I read a lot of crap in comments about "go back to this album or that album" I happen to like the fact that every album is different and I can see the growth and appreciate it. For Gods sake come back to the US on the east coast. I have to hear "Someday" live. In my opinion, the best song on the album, at least for me. Hits me square lyrically, vocally, and musically.

I love the music on this album, but Is it just me or all Evergrey videos look the same of late? Grey, slow, deppressing, showing some barren landscapes, forrests, rivers. Honestly guys, consider changing your video agency. A regular, full color, band-on-a-stage video would be so refreshing...
What about black undertow? This video concludes a trilogy so it's bound to look like the previous ones. Anyway, I'm sure In Orbit will be different.
