- We have an extended sea day after leaving Puerto Rico on the NCL Jade and of course we use it to test the fates, test the food, nap and more. Of course some sea day mistake were repeated but hey that's cruising!

You & Jenny B are suited well for each other. You love hanging out together, but also are happy to do your own thing. That is a sign of a strong & happy marriage! Hubby & I have been together happily for 35 years. He has been an independent golf sales rep, sifnce the year we married. He travels about 250 nights a year, so I have to be independent. I think that has been one key reason we have such a strong relationship. We both love to cruise, have been on 16 so far. When he retires, the plan is to cruise 2-3 weeks a month.
I like your approach to cruising and the ports. Instead of stressing about seeing everything, you're pretty chill and just enjoy what's out there.

Nothing better than cruising with my wife! We did our first cruise by ourselves in 2019 and haven’t been back since. Things in life have kept us away, temporarily. Going on a family cruise next fall and can’t wait. But, having the extra freedom when it’s just the two of us is a thousand times better.
We saw Elements a few years ago either on the Escape or the Joy, sailing to Bermuda out of NYC. Loved it!

I know the two of you have already talked about it but it’s time to book an Oceania cruise. All meals are included in all the specialty restaurants, 15 minutes before showtime will get you in the front row of the show and the food is A+. I strongly suggest the larger ships…..Marina being my favorite but the Riviera and the Vista are also beautiful. I am not a fan of their R class ships but that’s just me.
That Chicken Salad sandwich was excellent on the Breakaway. I'm a creature of habit and had that more than once :)
I’m like you Tony, I love my naps. When I was a kid my Mom couldn’t get me to take naps. Now I will take a nap at the drop of a hat. 😊
Why I don't gamble very often I like my money
But you spend your money on what you enjoy to do? If someone enjoys to spend there money in the casino it is there choice. People may not like to spend there money on the same things you do. Does not mean you need to disrespect them and say you like your money.
I find gambling boring as hell, and on top of it you lose money.
@coisafofa420 that's your opinion which you are a loud to have. I'm sure you do things that I would think are boring. Everyone enjoys different things. It does suck when you loosing though. Those are the early nights.

There was one NCL ship we were on (the Epic) where the O’Sheehan’s apple pie was to die for. If we didn’t fancy the dessert in the MDR, we would head up there afterwards just for a quickie dessert. Other NCL ships have been somewhat disappointing in comparison. So glad you two had such a nice time. Jenny B looks so pretty in pink btw! 💞

I'm not a fan of cruise ports in the summer. So much walking and heat! We just got back from a double and we never got off the ship the entire time. I love when everyone is in the port and my ship empty just for me!

The menu for the Teppanyaki has changed since I was last on NCL in 2019. No more filet mignon or edamame. The cost is really high now too. With the Canadian exchange rate I think I am priced out for the specialty restaurants. I loved the food and fun at the teppanyaki restaurants. 🥺Someone who I know who gambles a lot on cruises told me that sea days during the day is not a good time for big payouts in the casino slot machines and I should play at night for a better chance to win.

Great video! I’ve only cruised carnival and have 6 more cruises booked with her but someday I hope to be able to try another line mainly because of the entertainment. We’re looking into an Alaskan cruise and that will most likely be with another line as others have better options.

That dinner looked DELISH!! Loved Jenny's face when she tasted that sake cocktail,😁 My face looked just like that when I had a sake cocktail. They sound so good but they taste so weird. Although Tony, yours looked really good and if you had 2 they must have tast d as good as they looked. I love sea days. Thanks for the great video

I was playing blackjack on the Spirit last week and thought about you. Had a drunk guy hit on 14 when the dealer was showing a 5. Whole table went nuts on him. Idiot got a 6 which gave him 20 and would have given the dealer 21. Instead the dealer pulled a face card and busted, only because the drunk hit on the 14. So the move actually saved the table. Smh😂

O’Sheehans chicken salad is my go to, with a Caesar. We beeline there on embarkation day.

Best meal? That is a hard one. Been sailing 30+ years on 11+ cruise lines and all together the best and most memorable food was on Virgin Voyages. Especially the Wake!
QUESTION: Do you have control over your balcony window (above the rail), or does the captain lower and raise that balcony cover, to expose/open your balcony to the outside air, or to close/cover your balcony and keep the weather out? Can YOU just open that balcony window at will?
