Ive never felt this way about a band. I'm 30, grew up on what's now called "dad rock"* , felt all the goosebumps, and chest wall filling fuzziness a person can possibly feel on all that ...I even enjoyed the b sides; less played bands such as Yes, Chicago and the masterminds of Zappa. All of that knowledge I've gained......Kaleo was made for me. Before this it was a tie between Alice in chains and tool. Zero resemblance to those to those two bands but 100percet what I would aspire to be
I like Kaleo because they sing with passion and soul. Unlike most artists nowadays

America! The home from home ive never felt the same about another place in the world. Born in England and i honestly hope i die in America most beautiful place in the world. Driving 130+ all over it in a dodge challenger and then again in a Mustang to this song was just the best time of my life.

I've seen them twice in Concert. So humble and amazing with an awesome appreciation for the music and the fans. Plus they sound just as great live. Can't beat 'em!

Whesley Jarvis is all the performance basically their album or do they do some covers? Just because I don't think their songs would fill up an entire hour. Unless they banter and talk to the crowd. I'm just wondering though.
It's all their songs, plus little breaks. They only do one cover, which is Bang Bang. However, they always have openers, so the show length varies. The last show I saw only had one opener, but the one I went to previously had three.

I have been a kaleo fan for years, and this one resonates with me strongly. One of my favorites. Their video in other songs are always very well thought out, and I love it all. Wish they would visit Montana.

Usually, I wait a while before I buy a physical copy of an album. Like, maybe I enjoy it now and I'll get bored of it later. But Kaleo, I just can't get enough of them, they're too good to be true. I know there's a big new wave of rockers out there (Rival Sons, The Temperance Movement, Crobot...) but they're usually a little underground still. For instance, if I ask a friend if they know Rival Sons, they'll say "Who ?" but if I say Kaleo, they'll start humming Way Down We Go.
What I'm saying is, these guys have managed to reach mass audiences and still remain what they set out to be. Usually, when a band gets international attention they start loosing what made them great, however with Kaleo it goes a different way, it peaks my interest in them even more. All of this to say, fucking great album, I bought it within 2 hours after listening it in its entirety. I specially like Vor í Vaglaskógi and Broken Bones. Longer songs would be very welcome.
TL;DR : I love this band, can't get enough of them. I hope they keep doing what they're doing so fucking well.

I listened to this on my 20hr drive from South Carolina to Texas. I ended up 10 miles from the border, it took everything in me not to just head over the border and never look back. Glad ya'll have good taste in music!

The most underrated band ever 🤞 they sound so good I swear
I heard this playing at my mom's dentist office. I was thrilled when I heard it. Then I heard broken bones later that same day. I automatically love those dentists.
P.S. I also heard all the pretty girls at Panera and on music choice and way down we go just on music choice and people also use it on the voice sometimes.
