  • International tenor horn virtuoso Owen Farr performs 'Sing, Dance, Sing' - the final piece from '15 Progressive Concert Solos' by Lucy Pankhurst.
'Sing, Dance, Sing' uses two main themes - a slow lilting melody (which returns at the end of the piece) and a faster dance to allow the performer to demonstrate different aspects of their playing. This piece is much longer in duration than previous pieces in the book and uses compound time signatures throughout in a heavily folk-influenced style. The multiple changes in tempo, style and key ensure that this is suitable for more advanced performers (approx. grade 8).
