Montale Honey Aoud Fragrance Review + 100ML Bottle USA Giveaway
Here is my Montale Honey Aoud review. Honey Aoud is a fragrance I've been wanting to add to my collection for some time now but never got around to it. I love the combination of notes and I also love the idea of contrasting notes so this was a perfect fragrance for me to add to my collection and to eventually review. Knowing I already am a fan of another Honey Oud fragrance I wanted to check out what Montale's Honey Aoud is all about.
Honey Aoud starts off very woody, oudy. Honey Aoud has the trademark resinous, smoky oud that if you're a fan of Montale will love here. But this Honey Aoud is made for the folks that are not the biggest fans of oud fragrances and want an oud fragrance that is toned down. And that is just exactly what has happened here. The oud is toned down and the rough, sharp edges are softened by the honey. Montale Honey Aoud is all about the oud, the honey, some cinnamon and leather then dries down to a beautiful ambery, leathery woody vanillic scent. Great stuff. I have Floris Honey Oud and love it. I have a few Montale's and love them, but have never tried Montale's Honey Aoud. I would really like to try this one. Thanks for the review, Sebastian!

A fragrance review made just for me! Outstanding review Sebastian; thank you for giving this fragrance some much deserved love ❤️! I had a sample of this, (when I was a total newbie), but was afraid to commit due to it's stinky essence in the opening. I guess that would have been the Oud, plus the candle wax smell from the honey. But after about an hour or two of smelling rather odd🙊, that would give way to this majestic aromatic 👑 smell that I had never experienced wearing a fragrance. I thought to myself, "this is what it feels like when a fragrance gives you confidence!" This is the only juice that has done this for me or to me. One of the longest most enjoyable dry-downs I've ever experienced, which lasted well into the night from an initial morning application. I never purchased due to the off-putting scent I got in the front part of HA, but since then I've worn some for real for real 😳 odd smelling fragrances that puts Montale Honey Aoud in prospective. I will try in the contest, but if I don't win, I will buy because it's definitely full bottle worthy. Bravo 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Thanks for the review and gorgeous giveaway. I still don't have any Montale fragrance in my collection whereas there are many from Montale on my wishlist including Honey Aoud. I not only like but love long lasting perfumes.

I was always curious about this scent but didn't get it based on the "beastly" performance of Montale fragrances. Listening to your review, Sebastian, now I do want it! hahahaha! You have convinced me. :-)
Hi Sebastian , thank you for sharing your thoughts about this fragrance. Would love to try this one. I had the chance to own a Montale sample ; Velvet Aoud. It was a beast , performance wise. I love sweet gourmand fragrances , and from my collection , a good gourmand oud-ish fragrance is 24 Gold by Scentstory.
I wore Honey Aoud today for the first time - and I loved it! To me it reminds me of Kilian’s Angel’s Share. Anyhow, what a beautiful scent!
I have a decant that will be seeing some serious love this fall, and a full bottle is going on my wishlist. The cinnamon in the drydown is so beautifully smooth and is my favorite phase of the fragrance. I haven't been moved to own any other ouds yet, but this one won me over!

I got a decant and have been waiting for the weather to change to test, but in my initial impression, it reminds me of 24 gold. On scent alone I'm sold, when my decant runs out...
I like all the notes, so I think I would like this. I like that it is long lasting.

I just got it last night and its good but not wjat I expected
I ordered a bottle of Honey Aoud last night and can't wait for it to arrive. I'm a big Montale/Mancera fan but I do admit a lot of their fragrances smells too similar for me to warrant a purchase. I am looking forward to Honey Aoud because it seems a better fit for me than Oudmazing and I didn't care for the drydown in Nepal Aoud. Cheers!
Received my bottle of Honey Aoud yesterday...nice! I wore it last night and again tonight...nice how they good honey and oud and made 'em play nicely together.

Bought 2 ml sample, the parfume is sooo good
How do you pick up so many things in this fragrance? I only pick honey and Oud. The oud here gives the medicinal touch that makes the honey so much more realistic, because real fresh honey smells a little medicinal. It's like the oud is there to help compose the honey note.
I still don't have any Montale frag in my collection because most that I have tested are either oud intense or sweet gourmandish or syrupy.... If this one is not any extreme of what I dislike,then maybe this will work with my taste.

Any recommendations for a vanilla oud?
Been interested in Montale, but don't know where to start. I never really see it on anyone's top lists either. The bottles always make me think they're going to smell really synthetic for some reason too...but, I do hear most are beastly.
This one sounds interesting enough for the winter. I'll try some Montale sooner or later...
Do you have any experience with any of the other Montale? Any good recommendations on where to start? I know it depends on what I like...so, some of my favorites are PdM Oajan and Habdan, Amouage Jubilation XXV and Refleftion, Chanel Allure and Bleu.
