  • I love the Ace Attorney games for its story, but many discount it because "it's a visual novel." In this video, I want to showcase its gameplay as well as why it's a cut above all of the other attorney games out there!

I completely forgot the Apollo Justice collection was coming out! How exciting! I'm still working through the original Ace Attorney collection but having a blast with it. The intelligent writing, loveable characters, and silliness draw me in.

Been loving these series since DS releasee, glad to have so many people join the community over the years.
It makes you feel smart especially you spot contradictions and present right evidence and spot a lie. And the twist and turns drama in the courtroom is what draws me in.

Ace Attorney is a pheromonal series! ^_^ I've been playing the games since the OG Apollo Justice 16 years ago, and one thing I love about the series is the earnestness of its writing. Whether its being goofy as all heck or delivering drama that pulls at the heartstrings, Ace Attorney always commits to its tone with vigor. While it's frequently over the top, there's a straightforward sincerity to the storytelling that never fails to draw me in!
.... oh, and the music is fantastic. 🙂In particular, the Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright and The Great Ace Attorney soundtracks are my favorites.

Capcom needs to either rerelease the Ace Attorney Investigations duology, finish developing Ace Attorney 7, or make a new spin-off similar to The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles...
It's just not the same without a new case where the uninformed judge witnesses crazy facts get dragged out of witness' testimonies - all while interesting banter happens during the courtroom segments...
Replaying Apollo's trilogy is gonna be great.

Ace Attorney is amazing, honestly a legendary series. The courtroom battles are incredibly hype, I had some serious goosebumps at the peak of many trials. Plus the music in Ace Attorney is unreal, so many bangers and catchy tunes. Awesome video, Alex 🎉

I have been of the Ace Attorney series for a long while. I have been able to introduce a couple of my friends to the franchise, but a lot of others I have attempted to introduce to the franchise just couldn't get into the concept or the art style. Normally I would get comments like, this looks so juvenile or why would you want to play as a lawyer. I try to explain that it's a fun detective/who-dunnit series of games but I think the title of Attorney can be off putting for some. It's completely fine by me though because I'm just happy to see more people continuing to get into the franchise over time. Not every game is meant for everyone and that is ok.

I love this series. Up there along with Trails, Persona and Xenoblade as one of my favourites in gaming. The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles are peak writing.

I started with Dual Destinies in 2014, later played the original Trilogy on 3DS (and on the Switch some time after that) and then bought physical copies of Apollo Justice and Investigations 1 and played those. Also played the Professor Layton crossover game and most recently played the two Great Ace Attorney games.
So yeah, I've played all of the Ace Attorney games. Fantastic series!

I absolutely adore this series. I've played almost every game multiple times, and the game design is always super addicting. And despite being pretty much all reading, the visual and audio presentation make it feel snappy and fast paced. I encourage, even people who aren't into visual novels to give it a try!

My intro to the series was Miles Edgeworth: Ace Attorney Investigations 2!

I'm more of a "newcomer" to the Ace attorney series, I discovered it 2-3 years ago - I still haven't finished the Ace Attorney collection but I tend to very soon since I can't wait to get Apollo Justice collection. My only downside to these games, are the no voice actors, but it's something that are easily accepted when you get into the game and learn how the mechanics work. It also helps that the dialog is a little goofy at times, you'll def have a good laugh from time to time.

Collection might be the best way to go! God knows the original versions of the games are a bit on the expensive side!

Love the game, can be corny at times, but live action and the anime trying to be like the game really killed it.

I've always found it an odd idea that folks think you need to be a lawyer or into legalese to get into these games (especially given the art/memes that they've undoubtedly seen as their introduction to the series). But, I suppose that's because I have had a steady diet of anime based on niche activities. Racing, baseball, playing chess or go, anime centered around these hobbies always tries to make them more accessible and also leans on character drama and often an over-the-top tone to keep the audience with a casual interest or even a non interest in the hobby invested in the show. Given that, it has seemed silly to me to assume Japanese pop media would be like reading court cases XD.
