Only a few of the very early '61s had wide white wall tires from the factory, most were fittled with narrower three quarter inch white side walls, which in my opinion were much more attractive. The two front seats look like they were taken out of a '63 model, they don't match the back seats like they should. I love the car, '61 was my very favorite.

dj33036 .dj63010 I agree with you on the whitewalls. The early 61’s had the wide ones. Late 61’s on had the narrow ones that I prefer. Front seats were done in a 64-65 pattern. Have to wonder why they didn’t match the rears?

I agree that the wide whites look out of place should have the narrow whites. The front seats came out of a
1964-65 TBird. Not my favorite year but nevertheless a nice car.

Pretty body. Incorrect tires and seats for that year.

this car is in nice shape but its a damn shame the front seats arn't original (if the owner has had it for 23 years , you'd think he'd know that and i'm sure he does-just tryin to put one over). their from a "65 T-bird . also a shame the rear deck was cut to install after market speakers. My first car was a "61. White w/red interior. Also had a "63. a "73 and a "78. ha

The leather seats were ithe middle inserts not the entire seat. The wide whitewalls were not standard but those with Kelsey Hayes wire wheels really set off these bullet birds. I own a 63 Sport Roadster and love it.
