- In this video you can see how to activate automatically headlights "on" if you don't have this option on your headlight switch, on your BMW e90 car.
How is works?
- you need to keep all the time the headlight switch in "headlights on" position.
- the parking lights will be automatically "on" when you will insert the key in the key slot
- the headlights will be automatically "on" when you will activate the ignition / start the engine.
- the headlights will be automatically "off" when you will stop the engine.
- the parking lights will be automatically "off" after you will remove the key from the key slot and open the driver door.
You need to make 3 changes for this option (4 changes for FRM2/FRM3):
1) Search for TAGFAHRLICHT_ECE and change it to aktiv - enabled (on another module version this could be found as: TAGFAHRLICHT_ECE_0)
2) Search for DEF_TAGFAHRLICHT_ECE_CKM and change it to aktiv - enabled (on another module version this could be found as: DEF_TAGFAHRLICHT_ECE_CKM1)
3) Search for UNP_TAGFAHRLICHT_ECE_CKM and change it to aktiv - enabled (on another module version this could be found as: UNP_TAGFAHRLICHT_ECE_CKM1)
* 4) For FRM2/FRM3 also the following configurations need to be set to aktiv - enabled:
- TAGFAHRLICHT_ECE_1
- TAGFAHRLICHT_ECE_2
- TAGFAHRLICHT_ECE_3
The same procedure can be used to code BMW E81, E82, E84, E87, E88, E89, E90, E91, E92, E93

How do you do on a bmw e60?
Hi, you can do this also on e60 exactly like for e90, you need only to set e60 at chassis, and in LM (light module) you need to search for "TAGFAHRLICHT_ECE" and set it to aktiv. :)
