Search & Rescue Course | Nehru Institute Of Mountaineering | Uttarkashi

From small incidents in cities or mountains to big natural disasters, search and rescue is one of the most used but least talked about services in India. People are ready to help and serve voluntarily but lack of technique and training may be risky for the search and rescue party themselves. Such trainings are offered in Mountaineering institutes like Nehru Institute of Mountaineering, but to be eligible one has to finish Basic and Advance mountaineering courses with A grade. These institutes operate under Ministry of Defense so any concerns regarding safety or other things shouldn't be there.

What is eligibility for this SAR course?

Basic mountaineering course with A grade followed by Advance mountaineering course with A grade from any institute like Atal bihari institute Manali, JIM&WS pahalgam, HMI Darjeeling, NIMAS arunachal, or NIM uttarkashi. Age limit might be 40 or 42
