- In June, we spent a fabulous week in Bar Harbor, Maine. Our site at the Bar Harbor KOA Oceanside was incredible and every view of the park was breathtaking!

That water front site looks amazing.been tent camping for over a decade on MDI. It's an amazing park.There are a ton of hiking paths near the wild gardens, you did the boardwalk , which is great in a light rain,.But go up hill to see some amazing path making and views. last year the parking was so bad I parked here to do the Cadillac MT up and down hike. The Mini Golf place is the best. Next time, walk/Bike the Rockefeller roads ( and the bridges).
It was amazing! There is so much to do in the area that we could go back yearly and it would take us forever to get to it all. Thanks for the suggestions!

You have to book Cadillac Mountain tickets way ahead of time. We will be there in July and booked yesterday. Many of the times were already booked up, a month and a half in advance.
Yeah, we tried, but we were too late. Lol. Next time we will be sitting with our phones the moment they open.

I believe it was site 372, but honestly most of the oceanside sites have the same beautiful view.
