He never oversing. He's never loud. He just brings emotion and soulfulness.
His live version during the Mexican show tops any version they've ever done live. Ever. It was so beautiful, emotive, and glossy.

Shane actually does. I can easily say Nobody can sing Shane's parts like Shane, on the original CD or live. The croake, the raspy tone and vibrato.
So basically no one can sing the last high note LIVE like Mark because on the CD he is not singing it like that , but Shane can sing all this song alone🤷♀️
So it's just our preference of our favourites that is the issue here. Not the lack of capability by the other singers. The song is not even that high which means Shane can sing every note. He did in I'll See You Again which is higher than this song and even in others.
Mark can sing Shane parts too but the difference he doesnt have the croake nor the raspy tones which will make the song sound kind of a bit ....🤷♀️, thats all.

Apparently she didn't bring down Shane, instead she only cherish Mark's part in this song. I don't get it why both of you were being so aggressive to defend for Shane. Every member in Westlife plays their irreplaceable part in every song. Shane's voice is like a hot Cappuccino that warms your heart, while Mark's voice is like a Whisky that gives you chills. Nobody outshines others.
