His parents singing his songs in the back is the most beautiful part of the video
They totally knew the tune and lyrics to his original in the audition. Once they heard the opening they knew which one it was. To have parents who know your lyrics to songs no one else has heard shows such support and love!
It is truly AWESOME how excited his parents are n their mannerisms displays just how proud they r
Duke the meister best of luck to you and your daughter
yepp
FUCK YES! when i was a kid anytime I tried to practice all i heard was "too loud" "can you do that some other time?" "can you practice somewhere else" but they sure did love to show up to my recitals and tell all the other parents "That's my boy" when I played my heart out and got attention from other adults.
the fact that his parents are singing along to his original is beautiful
YeahđđŻâ€ïž
I LOVED that too!!â„ïž
The judges know the lyrics of his original Âż?
True
True it was amazing
Delta is really something else, she deserves to be there. She is actually helping people to reach their potential
This guy really made me happy.. and Big Thanks to Delta who put confidence, happiness, and a sense of self belief in him. You both are just AWESOME
is nobody gonna talk about the fact he said ânobody really cares if i play guitarâ and George got MAD about it??? he wasnât being rude he was just saying not many people care that he can play guitar like
How can i see it?

Good thing it wasnât the host
Thank you for not making me feel alone in that moment. great parenting.
Same hun, same! Was hoping someone else noticed!

He's been performing on the streets for 12/13 years. Thats a lot of grit. I hope he becomes a real recording artists.
I love how Delta helped him to gain his confidence helped him to reach his best capabilities â€ïž
I love that when George left, delta could tell that Daniel was rattled so the first thing she does is connect with him and have him play an original song, building up his confidence again
Exactly. I saw it. What motherly love. She saved him.
That as Brilliant
Yeah thats beautiful scene
And what a great song!
@@christianferrer4794 yeah untill she chooses the other 14 years old kid instead of him as the first choice ...i mean cmon you've promised him his songs will be on the radio and then choose another guy...what a bitch đ€
He meant that comment in a humble way, not to be rude. He meant that he can play guitar, but people donât seem to care if he does.
@Star Cat girl yeah me too
I can see how George took it as rude because he knew nothing about him prior to the audition. He thought that he asked if he olayed guitat and the guys response was like "why does that matter? No one in the audience gives a damn if I can". I can't blame George for feeling disrespected. But I'm so glad that he took a moment and realized what was actually being said.

Oh yh
Delta is such a beautiful Soul, I'm glad he picked her đ
Daniel is Absolutely Amazing! His voice is so unique, calming, and quite comforting. His original song was beautifully written
I think what he meant by "No one cares" is that no one cares what instruments he plays because either way he's invisible to everyone that walks by and hears him.
your sentence doesnt make sense. can u explain it
@@anonoumos basically. It seems that boy George didn't hear / understand what he said correctly. Boy asked "can you play guitar?" the guy replied "yeas I can, but no one really cares" which most people took as, people do t really care if he plays guitar or not. They either like him / see him, or ignore him / just walk past. Boy seemed to have taken this the wrong way though, thinking the guy said / meant, nobody cares about playing the guitar, while again, the guys more talking about his own personal experience playing it.
Sane
*SAMEE
I thought he meant he tried playing it in public and he didn't get the same response with the guitar as he did with the piano.
The kid meant that when he played on the street no one cared about him when he played the guitar.
YES EXACTLY. The poor kid is like stressed as fuck and worded it in a awkward way because of stress.
Luckily George realized it at a certain point. I was wondering what was up his *ss..
Exactly!!
Yeah that was obvious. Such idiotic reaction from the judge.
Philip Berggren yep, he shouldâve just asked why he felt that way and not had a mental breakdown on live television.
I feel embarrassed that I never heard of Delta, but she is an amazing coach and I will check out some of her music right now!! That was inspiring and they both nailed it!!
You are going to fall in love with her songs, she has many great hits dating back to her first three albums
Your clearly not an Australian lol
@@joemyers8289 She did try to promote her songs in America all those years ago but i guess it wasn't received well.

Delta was first seen in home & away she came far xx
Me as well. Never heard of her, but she's an awesome coach with a beautiful voice. I will be checking out her music too.
I love how happy Daniel looked singing with Delra. It said so much about their relationship.
George should have said "No one cares? I care. Come on, let's play some guitar." It would have been such a mature thing to say.
& then when he left, I thought he was going to bring out a guitar himself for Daniel to play. I was disappointed.
Same
George is a has been nothing more
Lol boy George has never been the mature type tho.
He admitted he was wrong so I think everyone should let it go đđđ
delta is the one of the best coach I have ever seen so far

My heart calls out for Delta putting myself in the contestants shoe đ€đ€ Delta is the best.
Ha!
I was thinking the same thing the whole way through this video! What she did, mentoring this young man is priceless!
And then when they perform together at the end and he holds the stage and performance just as well as she does at the end... Loved it!
That editing when they showed us how he didnât win but followed by deltaâs beautiful voice singing âitâs a bittersweet symphonyâ ugh that was beautiful made be feel so much better about the betrayal of him not winning
I love how his Mom knew his songs by heart. When the first 2 judges turned (I dunno if I'm the only who thought this but), I saw pain. Like "oh look, I'm finally heard". You're awesome Daniel! WE HEAR YOU. â€

He's not a talent, he's a star! Way above what they usually have.
Delta is awesome that was amazing she breathed life back into him, after George had a moment.
Heâs soo insecure thatâs why he said no one would care if he plays a guitar. Poor boy. I cried.
i dont think hes insecure he meant when he did noone cared
Demian Decker he is insecure but that wasnât why he said that it was like how you said no one cared when he did
To be completely honest I think it wasn't one of his strengths. I don't think anyone on a stage like this could possibly be insecure lol. Yes he is very innocent, but don't be fooled, he is practiced and on the right path.
As so many allready commented before was that when he plays the guitar (from his personal experience) when he is busking noone really cares. He doesn't gets as much response. And how Big Baby George could misinterpreted that is beyond me.
Me too SweetnessđđŁ

Weird that George misinterpreted this situation so severely. Daniel clearly meant "No one in the streets seems to care whether I play guitar or not". Additionally, Daniel seems like a really sensitive, nervous person himself- the type which George should easily empathize with and would probably get along with really well on a personal level, honestly.
yeah, George would.... if he hadn't been himself so narcissistic. That s for sure!
Well written and summarised. Exactly.

Delta knows what the best for D. Shaw, bravo
a singer with great technique is all well and good. But when someone makes people feel what they are singing.... that is extraordinary
ghraskull AMEN!
Yes so true Perfect is not real...
Nice George...Love both Daniel
He's been busking on the streets, he probably meant that "no one cares" in that guitar doesn't bring in as much money as piano. It didn't seem disrespectful and George is being dramatic.
Exactly my interpretation :o
He is forever dramatic that one
I agree
Complete hissy-fit because he failed to understand the guy. Not really coach worthy reaction at all
Boy George has always been very dramatic! It's as much a part of him, as the makeup he always wears. It's part of his image.
Daniel played the best version of that Robert Palmer song and I feel like he is just a genuineđ bravo bravo Daniel! đđđ
Hello pretty face I know it like a dream to you to get a message from me
I cant believe a producer hasnt turned dont leave me now into a massive radio smash. Feels like something The Chainsmokers, or Zedd would absolutely smash into the stratosphere
He released it himself as single in 2018.
I love how she coaches him not only in music but also in believing in himself that he can do anything.
CleverRC Gaming true
That is exactly what coaching is đ
The coaching of self belief is fine but the song choices were so horrible and he can't perform to his best cause now he technique singing and not enjoying the experience of singing in a big crowd
Does anyone else feel that heaviness in his voice? I felt like he was broken somehow. He didn't smile much. But the final performance was beautiful, not just how far he'd come through music, but you could see the laughter in his eyes and genuine joy in his eyes. I'm happy he got happier and reached for his dreams. He's great. Heard some of his songs on youtube a few months back too.

Unbelievable! He has gotten better and better with every song! Usually I like the raw first performances the most. But with him - astonishing journey! Delta did an amazing coaching job. âYour power is connection.â It doesnât sound big - but thatâs what being a singer, an artist, is being about. I think George took it the wrong way. I don't think the kid was being rude.
George figured out he wasn't trying to be rude. George took it as, "no one cares about guitars so shut up" but he meant, "I love guitar, but no one wants to hear it." George was embarrassed after he figured out what he meant.
No I think he was just nervous and it got taken the wrong way
thats just how stuck up he is....
he has been taking it the wrong way along time ago..
Being on the street so much I would have thought the kid might have learned a few things. But I would be wrong thinking that I guess. When Boy opens a door for him--- why not open it a bit more and hop on through.
'Guitar? Well... yes, maybe....ah...... next time???!'
Seemed like a SNIVELING and stupid response, to me. I did not like this performer, personally. Just because of his snotty reaction.
Had it been me, ' you want me to do while standing on my head!!? SURE! I can do that!!! '
You have to RECOGNIZE your OPPORTUNITIES whenever/where ever they occur!! And make the MOST of them when they occur!!!
Huge respect to Delta for standing with him and making him sing like he does.
We all need such person who keeps us pushing to go forward
Mad respect when she said she's going to choose whom she feels needs her the most. That's a true mentor...helping those who need it the most.
Agree with you 100%
You are right in giving credit where credit is due. Delta took him to the sky. She believed in him and he did her ( and himself, his family ) proud.
Anyone else feel a connection between them?

My oh my, the last perfomance is to die for honestly. Delta is a great coarch.
I think delta was rly smart to ask for another song to try to make him feel better about George leaving

Women do those king of things... we try to distract from current issues and life goes on.. Boy Georges reaction disappointed me... bc this wasn't about him.. but the artist... J.S.

Great leaders will always bring out your best potential. Delta was amazing at doing that. As a young man, even with his great talent, I think she was able to get his best. Don't think a male coach could have done that.
"it does not have to be perfect, it just has to be real" Wow!!
That's what a coach should be.
I respect Delta for pushing him beyond his perceived limits. that is a great coach.
When Daniel sang "Torn" i had goosebumps all over me. Daniel Shaw listen to me. Fear is something every artist feels. He was literally referring to that people on the street aren't as intrigued by guitarists on the street as they are to a piano player on the street, which i can confirm

That's what I like bout the voice Australia, there's so much dramađ and it's real and authentic.
Connection is his magic. So true. So real.
I dont understand why people are saying that Daniel was being disrespectful. Like no he wasn't being disrespectful he was just saying that people didnt really care if he played guitar. He plays on the streets and I'm guessing people just didnt pay attention to him playing guitar rather than playing the piano. I also understand that people make mistakes and that sometimes misunderstand something but that reaction was just so melodramatic from boy George, like he could've asked Daniel a follow up question like " and why do you think that?"
Boy George told him he cared, but got no reaction from him. Guess George took it that he didn't care what he thought.
A follow up question would've been better. True.
So true that man is uncool
Yes he was asshole. He was being cocky.
@@patrickperry8951 No he wasn't. You definitely are a fan of George because I've seen you reply to every single person who said he was in the wrong. Which he was. The kid wasn't being cocky. If he plays guitar and nobody pays attention to him. Compared to him playing piano and getting lots of attention and praise for his skill in the piano rather than his skill on the guitar. Then what does that mean if you look at it from a logical standpoint?! NOBODY CARES THAT HE PLAYS GUITAR. He also didn't know that George cared if he played guitar or not. And even up to that point. It nobody cared before and he asks if he played. Then that's exactly how he should've responded. Because up until then he probably got no praise for it or questions about it. He wasn't being cocky. He was actually being insecure or else he wouldn't have insulted himself by saying that nobody cared about his guitar skills that he spent so long to develop.
